I can confirm he said it. I don’t have enough experience with high end cars but is there any grain of truth. I’d expect Maybach maybe Aston Martin to have superior paint to something like my Ford or a Chevy. Is that the case?

Hand applied APP to the area under where the fender flares of the bronco go and then applied DIY 8 year coating so I can put the flares back on while I wait for the pad to do the rest of the paint.

Do wheels need a coating designed just fir them or will the same painting from your paint work just fine?

Last I bought for my Bronco was mud flaps and grab handles. Next will be Mille panel for front seat storage.

I’m trying to empty several but to no avail. It appears that detailing chemical bottles are like tribbles. They just keep appearing out of no where (at least until swmbo looks at the bank statement).

Went and looked and I used less than a quarter of the bottle (it’s still above the label). I also went back and watched the ADS video; I put on about the same amount.

Here it is after sitting for 5 hours…

About 1/3 I think. Did all five. ETA: and if it doesn’t effect longevity, I’m ok with the look.

Pretty good. It was a little shinier than I expected but it may cure down a bit? Either way, I like it. Glad I used a brush. Getting it into those sidewalls definitely took some brush work. If it lasts closer to that be months, I’ll probably keep using it.

Not sure all about it. Pretty sure it’s got red tint in the clear and I’ve heard there’s some gold metallic in the base.

Ghost and ADS Wheel

Started. After three times around I’m calling them clean (enough). Taking a break before I apply Ghost and Wheel coating.

Just put DIY interior ceramic on my Bronco — so far, so good but that’s just a week. Been using GTechnic on my wife’s tan Lincoln interior and it’s been good.
