    Which auto fogger to use?

Dakota Odor Bomb is good. Also change the cabin filter and give the interior a good general cleaning including carpets. Use of a steamer really helps the cause if you have access to one. Doing interiors is a bit time consuming but once you get it right you'll appreciate driving the car that much...

Black Lexus LS460 Paint Correction - Pro Corrections - Nashville, TN

Nice save. I drove one of those for years. They are built like a tank. That poor car was in rough shape, like I said nice save. I couldn't help but think you should have eye protection on getting being that rotary for accurate buffing or maybe it was just staging the photo. You only get one set...

Wash and wax daily drivers for$

Good advise. I typically find moving up one pad in aggressiveness when using an AIO helps a lot. Make a couple passes with a cutting pad then move to a polishing pad to finish out. You have to have a different mind set as the customers will definitely be at the auto swirl and scratch car was...

How much dirt do you accept?

Usually a full wash each weekend for both cars. My car gets a waterless wash every few days with a final wipe with Megs spray wax. I like to drive clean cars.

Using A Ceramic Coating AND a Sealant?

Blackdevil I would over think it. I understand your logic and the application seems fine. I agree with Zach, coating, wax or sealant just keep up the level of protection. From what I see coatings are very thin so there's only so much you can ask from them.

This is what a triple coat of Gloss Coat looks like: my wife's 2011 Durango

Only problem I see is there is a tree growing out of the hood! Sweet detail and for the right person, guess you scored some brownie points.

Anyone here do Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) or take stab at doing it?

This kit looks to be one of the more complete kits. I didn't notice the slide hammer. A 5 pounder is good most at 3 pounds. Can you PM me where you got this kit? Also when using suction cups heating the panel seems to help. I've actually popped some dents heating the dent and using compressed...

Any advice for polishing under door handles?

By hand, no need to get a polisher in there. I would never disassemble a customers door panel to clean behind the door handle. I can think of the number of problems this could cause.

    Dodge Challenger Shaker edition

What I find more impressive than the car (which is awesome BTW) is your GARAGE. I'd love to know the secret. My theory is after 30 years in one spot is junk accumulates to space available! One of Murphy's Laws I think.

Help and advice needed for Maguiar's 105 and 205

When I compound I use M105 90% of the time. I have run into the problems you shared. Usually it's the panel temperature that causes the polish to flash not to mention the buffer adds heat as well. Soultion is simple work on the side of the car that is out of direct sunlight, go to a less...

What's the best All In One?

Like rougegeek said there isn't a "Best". Everyone seems to be on the HD Speed kick lately. Personally I use Meg's D151. Over the years I've become comfortable with their products and usually use them. That said I use more M205 than an AIO's.

    Can clay bars go bad/expire???

I always use DAWN in a water spray bottle for lube. Just a small amount is needed. Also spray the bar directly on first use of it it starts to drag. When workin in the sun you have to work small areas. I've used off brands before but try to stick with Meguiars medium clay bar. They all work. Go...

    New customer was very pleased

Nice work, feels good making customers happy about driving a detailed car doesn't it? BTW you don't need to spend hours on wheel wells for the level detail you did. Daytona wheel brush with a bucket of soapy water then spray with a water based wheel dressing. Just a few minutes and even your...

    Can clay bars go bad/expire???

Sounds like you didn't have enough lube on the car when working the clay bar. I've never had a bar go bad. Once they get a lot of grit in them dedicate them to wheel cleaning or trash can.
