Is Adam's Slick N Slide Really Just like Xtreme Solutions Topper?

Xtreme Solutions Topper is one of my favorite Toppers/Drying Aids. I have read here on this forum that Adam's Slick N Slide is basically made by the same company and is the same product, so I ordered some. For those of you who have tried both, is the Adams product indeed just like Topper? Does...

    Spray Sealants - 3-6 months

I was excited to try TEC584 G-Max, after having used and loved TEC 582 Ceramic Detail Spray for many years. My thoughts are that TEC584 is a great detail spray, but I just didn't see that much of a difference compared to 582. I like the smell of 582 better - its pina colada scent is addictive...

    The Tire Dressing Comparison Thread

After reading through this discussion, I just ordered some Griots Garage Ceramic Tire Dressing. I was considering DarkSide as well, but I prefer a water-based dressing over a solvent-based one.

    The Tire Dressing Comparison Thread

Thanks for the great review and helpful info! One question for the forum. I was watching some tire dressing reviews on Youtube and one comment from a professional detailer caught my attention. He said that instead of using a dedicated tire dressing, he uses Technicians Choice Ceramic Detail...

For those who use keurigs...please respond

If you buy the Nespresso capsules at Starbucks or Peet’s, they cost 70 to 80 cents per capsule. But I buy the large package of 80 Peet’s capsules at Costco and I think it costs about 40 to 45 cents per capsule. I usually use 2 capsules per cup of coffee.

For those who use keurigs...please respond

Have you considered switching to a Nespresso machine? My wife and I stayed at a hotel a few years ago and tried the Nespresso machine in the room. It made a surprisingly good cup of coffee. One reason I like Nespresso better than Keurig is that the small cannisters of coffee are made out of...

Is Griots 3 in 1 Ceramic Spray Wax still viable?

I am actually a fan of GG 3-in-1 Ceramic Wax. I have it as my base protection for my wife's car and have been very happy with it. I use a ceramic topper (Xtreme Solutions Topper) after every wash, so it is possible that what I am happy with is actually the combination of 3-in-1 Wax and Topper...

    New Car Towel Recommendations

+1 for the Gauntlet. I have used this towel for 1 1/2 years of weekly rinseless washes and it still feels as soft and still works as well as the day I bought it. I absolutely love it.

Best spray product for keeping windshield clear in the rain?

With all the recent rain we have had here in Socal, I have a question about the best spray product to keep my windshield clear in the rain. I understand that a dedicated glass coating such as Gyeon View would be best, but I would like to know if any of the spray products I already have on hand...

How are you caring for PPF

I've had Xpel PPF on my car for the past 4+ years and, even though I am parked outside 24/7, the PPF has held up very well. I know some people like to put a ceramic coating on top of their PPF. But like you, I just apply a ppf-safe ceramic spray sealant once every 3-4 months, as well as a...

Griots Ceramic 3 in 1 Wax vs 3D Bead It Up as a drying aid?

I have Cancoat Evo on one of my cars and I was thinking of trying Gyeon Ceramic Detailer. The issue I have with it is the cost. Since I use a drying aid after every wash, I take cost and value into consideration. I like to buy and use in bulk. I think the Gyeon CD is available for $29.99 for a...

Griots Ceramic 3 in 1 Wax vs 3D Bead It Up as a drying aid?

I use and like GG 3-in-1 Ceramic Wax as my base protection, but I would not use it as a drying aid for two reasons. I would be concerned about possible build up if you use it too frequently. And also it is pretty expensive at $85 a gallon. Since I use a drying aid after every wash, I want it to...

    Drying Aid

Topper by Xtreme Solutions. Topper offers great gloss, slickness, and a very pleasant scent. It is a pleasure to use and work with and it gives a boost of ceramic protection. I also think it is a good value. You can buy a gallon of the stuff for under $40.

    Pre-PPF Routine Help

I remember Mike G made a comment once about Sonax PF causing some marring and excessive dusting. Also, since you are preparing the car for PPF, I would avoid any polish that leaves behind a layer of SiO2. I think CarPro Essence leaves behind some SiO2, so I would go with Reflect over Essence...

    Pre-PPF Routine Help

Four years ago, I had PPF installed on my 2018 Tesla Model 3 a couple days after I took delivery. The installer told me that the adhesive and film would fill in and mask the minor swirls. It did improve the light swirls, but in bright sunlight I can still see them. So if I were you, I would...

How to remove Cancoat Evo high spots from window?

I applied Cancoat Evo to my wife's 2014 Honda Accord about 8 weeks ago. While I got all the high spots on the paint, I missed a high spot on the front driver's window. I must have applied the Cancoat Evo to the window trim and accidentally got some Cancoat on the window itself. I did not notice...

NEW Griot's Garage Ceramic Tire Dressing - Any good?

It looks like Griot's Garage has come out with a new ceramic tire dressing. Has anyone tried it? I love their Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax and I am curious about this new addition to their ceramic line of products. Please share your opinions if you have tried it. Thanks, Joe

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

I am a huge rinseless fan. I haven't done a traditional wash in 4 years. I agree that ONR is still one of the best rinseless washes on the market. I recently tried P&S Absolute and I really loved it. I ended up ordering a gallon after trying the 32 ounce bottle. Cleans really well, nice...

Griot's Garage 3-in-1 Ceramic Wax vs Gyeon Cancoat Evo

My box of Cancoat Evo came with three spray nozzles. But I watched Brian with Apex Detail's video and he had a great suggestion that I tried and that works. Before I apply Cancoat, I put some water in a disposable glass. As soon as I am done using the Cancoat, I immediately remove the nozzle...

Griot's Garage 3-in-1 Ceramic Wax vs Gyeon Cancoat Evo

Thank you for the suggestion. Why do you like the Meguiars Hybrid Paint Coating over Cancoat Evo? And can the Meguiars be applied to a car parked outside? That is one reason I chose Cancoat Evo is that it is advertised as being "outside application friendly".
