If I need to clay, should I reapply the collinite 476s?

Ya I have a coat of collinite 476s on there right now. I understand that the longevity of the CG XXX will be affected by the previous coat, which I want to keep. I'll wash the car, (non stripping shampoo) then wax it, and coat it with two layers of xxx. Sounds about right?

Is it ok to wax a day before rain? I just got some CG xxx paste wax that I'm dying to try out. I have Friday-Sunday off work, was going to do it Friday, but supposed to rain sat-sun. I know it's a carnauba wax, so will the "shine" and durability be tarnished if it rains the next day? I...

Ok title kinda sounds weird... What my question is, what compounds/polishes work best with specific paints i.e. Benz=hard paint, honda=soft etc. In your experience, what works best for each manufactures paint?

do you know if the "Sonax extreme brilliant shine qd" is the same as the non-extreme?

I recently used UC and found I need to use the UP to get rid of some micro-marring left from the UC. I did UC, UP then collinite 476s as a LSP.

Ok, so I tried it with softened water form inside and made a huge difference in foam output. Now it's much more like in the videos with 4oz soap. Although, when I do rinse with the soft water, the water doesn't flood off the car like it usually would.

Would a filter like this help with the hard water? Has anyone tried this unit? http://www.autogeek.net/waterfilterkit2.html

That's quite a bit of soap, no? And didn't someone say that ONR will kill the suds?

Ok so I brought it to my buddy's who's on city water, foam is much better!! Now I just have to figure out an inline water softener system to hook up for the garden hose.

I've tried with, and with out. Same results.

I've been using CG Honeydew with about 1oz of ONR, also tried CG glossworks.

Ok so I tried to loosen the fittings like stated before, but that made no difference. When I get a chance, I'm going to take the cannon to a buddy's and try it on the city water. If that fixes the issue, looks like I'm in the market for an inline filtration device.

Yup, tried both ways on top and the nozzle, wise open on top seems to get the most soap, but not the shaving cream thick foam.
