    Remember The Old Days?

At least we old timers had to learn about mechanics, how to fix a car in the middle of the road, carrying all assortments of tools when we were in a trip. Nowadays the young generation are all wussies, don' t know s&$# about anything, call AAA for a flat tire. They just wait for help to come...

    Flex PE14-2-150 speed dial problem

It is not gonna be easy to find this part, since the 110v module won't work on the 230v. Therefore, forget about finding it in US. Try to contact Flex Germany directly, and explain your problem. If the polisher is 230V 50hz, and your power grid runs on 60hz, avoid running on max speed, never go...

Probably the electronic module is busted. Try to contact them, buy the part, and fix it in your country. Is it 110v or 230v?

21 Mark II with 5 inch BP?

Errr, I try to keep my posts as short as possible, since I'm not a native language speaker, and I worry being misunderstood due my lack of proper knowledge of english language. What I stated in my previous post is my personal experience with it. I don't write hearsay or anything like that, since...

21 Mark II with 5 inch BP?

I have a 21 ES, and when I put the 5in BP, it becomes a pad eater. Obviously increases cut, it is like a turbo mode, but a lot more vibration as well, especially sideways vibration. In mf pad, it generates such a heat that the pad's foam interface melts inside, like b&s black mf pad without...

CarPro Reload - Yay or Nay

Indeed, Reload could be improved. Weak durability, c2v3 is a lot better. I would also consider Opti-Seal, Sonax PNS, Sonax Nano Paint Protect

What do we do when a customer brings in a coated car?

Yes, it is, Sir, lots of labour. The açaí pronunciation is almost there, it would be A - SA - EEH, lol. I asked a friend of mine, owner of a Brazilian Nuba manufacturer, if he could send me a pic of the three main types so I could post it here. Best regards

    Coating WITHOUT Correction??

I believe this is what tdekany meant, before things got out of control. Excellent way of putting it, Sir, my best regards.

    Coating WITHOUT Correction??

Coating without correction? I've never done that. And probably, I'll never will. I've never clayed without polishing afterwards as well. But I think correction is a wrong term for the OP, the correct term would be polishing. Correction, imho, means renewing the paint, fixing years of neglect and...

My 1st SEMA car and it has a terrible paint job! :(

Couple humble suggestions: Since you block sanded, instead of air powered da sanded, the first step will be a bit irregular. I suppose you'll go 1200 or 1500 grit after that, and this step will be crucial, to level off the 800 grit marks. You have to remember that anything below 1200 grit is way...

My 1st SEMA car and it has a terrible paint job! :(

Wow, 800 grit! Courageous approach, but it seems right, since there is four layers of cc, plenty of material to work with. Since you are neck deep in this project, I would humbly suggest a light 5000 pass after the 3000, just to be sure, after all it will be a SEMA car. Measure it after every...

Need help with 3M Compound and Polishing Products No other brands please just 3M

3M rules the bodyshop segment, I've never seen one without it. Trizact, rotary and wool comes to my mind. IPA wipe down will be needed. I know you asked for only 3M, but since you are also a big Menz fan, have you tried the new 300? It finishes better than the old one, less haze.
