HELP: Starting a LEGIT Detailing business!!!

How can you insure a detailing business that's not a legit detail business? Start there first Go to the county clerk and register your ficticious business name. For me it was $30. I then had to go to the local paper to have my business name published. That was around $200 You can bypass the...

Water spots and was my car REALLY detailed fully?

The similar places around my town do production style detailing and use production style products. Its not bad, its just what you pay for - Rotary compounding with a wool pad or foam cutting pad and finishing it down with glaze/wax/finish polish all in one via foam pad on a rotary. For a lot of...

what pads to use on my DA for heavy oxidation?

You can take off pretty heavy oxidation with a da and appropriate pads if you have heavy compound intended for gel coat On the few occasions of polishing heavily oxidized boats this summer, m105 did not do a damn thing. It just got soaked in as if I tried to wax it. Save the headache and look...

You can get a square reader for free man! Just sign up online and they'll send one to you. You have to have a smartphone, and you only get charged when you swipe or use square. I switched the settings to automatically add the percentage to the bill and I just tell the customer there is a 3%...

Another "need help with my business name" thread!

Those names sound higher end. Do you plan on doing higher end work? Do any of those names sound like how you want your business to be? Brand yourself according to your market, and tailor everything to your target audience, especially from the start. Don't assume things either. Do your research.

    Tornador Black - compressor size

20 gallons minimum... 8 bare bare bare bare minimum. Just depends on how you want to use it. If you have a compressor already, compare it to a blow gun. For me, with a 20 gallon, a blow gun is ineffective after 15-20 seconds, and that's about the same with the tornador.
