    Best vacuum?

Agreed. It was Richy's review that helped me decide. Great vacuum and a great substitute for a water extractor. I do all of my shampooing with this vac, pro chemicals, and a pump sprayer of water. Sucks water out really well. One bad part to this vac is the lack of attachments and the lack of...

Using ONR as an interior clean?

It works ok on interior. Definitely intended for dusting and light dirt though, not heavy cleaning

    M101

I had interest in this product a few weeks ago.. Still do. But I picked up m105 locally in place of UC, and wow I was really missing out! I actually prefer the short working time with it bc I'm pretty impatient lol

    Serious Water Spots

If they're on there pretty fresh, they'll come off by machine polishing and the right polish pretty easily. Just use something with more cleaning than cutting. I've read that the meguiars waterspot remover that you can pick up OTC is pretty good

Passion to grow a detailing business

Have you checked out how many companies are doing something similar in Dallas? Check out the kind of services they offer, and what they look like, and what they do, what they are, who they target, what buildings they service, prices, types of cars, how long they've been in business. What do you...

    Removing interior cloth stains?

The meguiars guys want you to use their apc, protein stain remover and tannin stain remover/fiber rinse as the carpet/upholstery products So since they don't have a "carpet/upholstery" shampoo, the apc would be the regular dirt and soil lifter/remover/cleaner aka shampoo right? I swear I heard...

    Removing interior cloth stains?

I would go back at it again and again til it comes out. If you can spend a little extra cash, go to your local janitorial supply shop and pick up a good traffic lane cleaner and fiber rinse product If not, just use the apc and make sure to rinse and extract enough But just try to get it as dry...

Moving from PC to DeWalt DWP849X after 9 years..advice and encouragement needed

I suggest using the hold or lock button for that issue! I was going to recommend learning to pick up a bead of product but I just read that you already did. It really helps keeping product from flying everywhere. Also, I found that after learning to pick up a bead of product, my handling of...

    Weekly maintenance prices

If you can book a couple weekly maintenance jobs, and book em all on the same day each week, and book them in order on a route so you don't have to fly all over town, then it could work. $30 seems fair to me if you're doing quick work. I'd probably aim for $50 and still try to do good quick...

    engine problems from detailing

Yeah depending on where the spark plugs are and how they're situated, it's pretty easy for water to slip through there. And I'm in no way a mechanic, so that's why we don't offer engine detailing

In need of recommendations for a good car wash soap for intense cleaning

I like pretreating with apc on nasty car lot straight from the auction cars. IMO it dissolves that nasty layer of filth that you would otherwise spend extra extra time soaping/washing off. But I guess if you had a pressure washer it wouldn't matter much

How do you handle these types of people

indeeed. if you can't throw out ballpark estimates over the phone, then i'm sure half of your potential customers aren't gonna bother. plus, youre wasting time driving to do estimates everyday. it'd be impossible to run a business that way. we have set prices for our basic kinda stuff, interior...

    Microfiber Cutting Pads

I think its good to have a few microfiber pads, especially if you have a business or are doing multiple cars. The backing gets a bit hot when doing heavy work and can warp and delaminate the pad. So its good to have atleast an extra pad to switch as necessary
