I made the mistake of leaving a closed bottle of Iron-X in my trunk for a week. Yeah, don't do that. Smell still hasn't come out. And it was never even opened, just the residue on the outside of the bottle. Works great, though!

Great turnaround! I love older Volvos, always have. I have a white '96 850 that needs its radiator replaced. After I get around to that I can't wait to completely overhaul the paint and interior. :)

If the clear coat is too far gone and the polycarbonate is oxidized, they'll probably need sanding, polishing, and re-sealing with a permanent protective coating. ray6 is the authority 'round these parts on headlights. He'll probably chime in with some good advice. Have any good pictures?

I noticed my engine smoothed out a bit after I used SF through the intake, but it had over 100k miles at the time. At 25k (and using it through the gas tank) I'm not sure you'd even notice any difference.

Soapy water is what I've used for over ten years. Never have had a problem with marring.
