Feel like I was duped here with detailing and ceramic coating

I was trying to stay optimistic here.... But, I figured it was gonna turn out this way. When you sent those vids of them working on it, my hopes of a quality job went out the window. lol Who am I to judge? I hope you get your money back, cause you can kiss whatever clearcoat they removed...

Feel like I was duped here with detailing and ceramic coating

Personally, I'd never use Ceramic Pro. For one, their website is just as atrocious as the OP's so-called detailers website. And two, I quit reading about them as soon as I read "9h". Nope and NOPE!

Feel like I was duped here with detailing and ceramic coating

The crazy thought is that this guy supposedly installs Xpel protection film too. I can only imagine him covering that filthy denali and returning it to the customer. lol

Feel like I was duped here with detailing and ceramic coating

He must have quite the crew working on that SUV to have it perfect and ready by tomorrow. Especially with two layers of a coating and cured.

Feel like I was duped here with detailing and ceramic coating

Let's not carried away quite yet. Anyone can copy and past these days, that doesn't mean make him a bonafide detailer. Furthermore, to charge a customer $1700 and leave those swirls on the paint without consulting with the customer? Give me a break. Lets get real for a moment... unless that...

Did he supply you with the paint measurements? 3-4 stage paint correction? Wow.

Feel like I was duped here with detailing and ceramic coating

Yes. That needs to be redone and corrected to be proper. However, I wouldn't have that guy touch mine with a 10' microfiber pole. lol

Feel like I was duped here with detailing and ceramic coating

Bring it back and show him under light the problem. I'd assume since he does correction, he has a well lit area? That is pretty bad and I'd be pissed if I paid $1700.

What is everyone using to reapply badges?

The point is, a better polish job around the emblem, especially ones that are scripted. It all depends on the customer needs and wants. Personally, I wouldn't do it.

What is everyone using to reapply badges?

I thought for sure that price included the emblem as well. That is absolutely ridiculous...

Getting good results using SuperClean on tires...

Now, that I can understand. However, I thougt we were talking about cleaning tires? Lol

Getting good results using SuperClean on tires...

I'm unsure why some here are scared of using something with a 12 or 13 PH level? Almost all household cleaners have a PH level that high, its quite common and quite safe to use. You're not suppose to consume it, but it is safe to clean without problem.

    Idea for Felt Wheel Liners

On most trucks, you do not sit near the rear axle to experience the noise. The rear passengers on cars do. Our Ford fusion is felt lined in the rear also and not up front. Heck, Ford even has the whole front under belly lined too. Makes it a pain in the rear to change the oil.

    Iron remover

I usually agree with this statement, but have reverse results. Kinda like using Scott's brand fertilizer for my grass. They all usually have the same active ingredient, but my results are abysmal with the off brands. IronX in my opinion is the Scott's in the grass fertilizer world.

First time polishing are these holograms?

Gotta love CarPro's Eraser. Has to be one of my favorite products to use, including the scent.

Toyota Tundra 1742 Edition CQuartz 3.0

Yeah, I've seen their claims and I would like to know what the chemical compound is to strip wax or sealants.

Toyota Tundra 1742 Edition CQuartz 3.0

Nice job! Just a heads up, I'm not sure that CG clean slate is gonna strip any wax. Not that it really matters if you're polishing.

Just Scratched my Faux Wood BMW 320i xDrive

Any light polish should do the trick. The problem is getting in the small areas. Try seeing what results you get by hand or try a Rupes Ibrid polisher if you have one?

    Essence users

I could never get it to finish correctly using it sparingly. Maybe it was my pads? Idk? I also had to use more than what was directed. I got tired of playing around with it and would usually grab my trusty bottle of HD Polish instead. Much cheaper and problem solved for me.
