Very fine spider webs on black

Could be. It was my first time using a DA. But even on a flat surface, even light pressure would stop rotation. It was terrible. It was the Torq X... It has a very low current motor. Lowest rated of any that I looked at (after I bought it of course). Sent from my iPhone using Autogeekonline...

Very fine spider webs on black

The issue I had with the Torq was that I couldn't keep it moving. It just didn't have enough power. The only other experience I have is the GG6, which has plenty of power. Based on this, I would say the machine is pretty important. Sent from my iPhone using Autogeekonline mobile app

Very fine spider webs on black

Good point Mike. I also returned the Torq DA that I started with and purchased a GG6. That made a world of difference. But I still tried the CG VSS with the GG6, and the results were not good. I felt like I was creating imperfections while polishing. Sent from my iPhone using Autogeekonline...

    Equipment/Supplies Order

Get Optimum No Rinse or Wolfgang Uber and dilute it for a clay lube. It works out to about 50 cents for 16 oz of clay lube. It's far more economical.

    Storing rinseless between washes

I just got a Gamma seal lid because of this thread. Any idea how long I can store rinseless solution before it gets funky? I'm gonna go get 3 gallons of distilled water. Sent from my iPhone using Autogeekonline mobile app

Very fine spider webs on black

FWIW, I bought a Chemical Guys swirl remover initially. I wasn't getting very good results. I then bought some Griots BOSS products and got great results. I haven't used the WG compounds, but the other products I have used from that line are excellent, so I would totally use them. Sent from...

    Shout out to Duragloss 601/111

I live in California. Thanks for the offer though. I think my wife would think I've officially lost it if I had any more detailing products.

    Shout out to Duragloss 601/111

I put this on my wife's minivan a few weeks ago, and since then, it's frozen and rained, and the car has been outside a ton. I've only done a totally half assed rinseless wash one time, and the thing looks perfect. And the slickness is amazing. I'm super impressed with this stuff, and I never...

I placed an order on Tues for the 25% off with 3.95 shipping. Then I see 25% and free shipping! So I order a couple PFM towels. I have several towels I've never even used. Do I need more towels? Heck no. I just can't help myself. My wife thinks I have a problem. I think she's right. Sent from...

    Quick pad question

Just reread your post. You might want to consider a dedicated pad cleaner. And do you have a pad brush? I use both. Not sure if Towelkleen is as aggressive as a pad cleaner. I have Blackfire and it's pretty strong stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Autogeekonline mobile app

    Quick pad question

For pads, just follow the instructions. Spray with cleaner, let dwell, brush, rinse thoroughly. I've let pads sit over a month and they clean up fine with the right cleaner. For towels, I would wash the severe duty ones separately, or prewash. Sometimes I just throw them out if they're bad...

    Wolfgang Uber QD dilution

I have some Uber on the way, and I've read the 3 oz to 1 gallon of water for QD. In my brain, that doesn't seem like enough. Is that enough? I'm used to ONR 1 oz to 16 oz water. Anybody have an optimal ratio? Thanks. John

    Sealant comparison

Hey I have a question on WGDGPS. At one point you said you thought it came back a bit. Did you change your opinion? The real reason I ask is that's my current sealant, and my experience is so totally different. I have had 2 or 3 month old sealant on my car and the water behavior is like I...
