Griots 2" conversion kit ?

Have Flex 3401. Would like to trade for a Griots G15+ G3. Or mini polisher like the Flex, Rupes

My 2 experiences with Griots was great. One I purchased 2nd hand and they still honored. I would only contact them directly. No need to go through Amazon or AG unless that is what you prefer.

Paint the entire panel. Many many new cars have had panel work done that most never notice. Only exception is your color is one of the hardest to match so look at the paint match in many different light sources before leaving.

Just be careful with smaller pads because you must pay attention to the balance of the machine.

I have used it allot along with Ultimate wax. They both work well but the Gold Class has a much richer look IMO. The Ultimate lasts much longer though.

Just to be clear...My take was they are clear coated aluminum wheels. If they are painted then it's a whole different story and metal polish should go nowhere near the wheels.

Since you are through the clear coat anyways go ahead and sand it 800,1500 , 2000 to get it smooth then a little metal polish to get some shine in it. From there treat that portion of the wheel as uncoated aluminum and polish it once in a while. The shine will never match but it will look allot...

Recently did something similar (Mustang GT). I will tell you from 1st hand experience that snow/winter tires make a HUGE difference in traction in cold and wet weather with a car like this.

I did this exact thing...Just have to be careful with the balance of it. I am trying to find some kind of foam to put over the housing to prevent an accident.

Just to be clear it is not a requirement to follow up Ultimate Compound with Polish. Ultimate compound can produce an outstanding finish that is LSP ready.
