Keep in mind most people could care less about swirl marks, dings and scratches.

Keep in mind they have a limited warranty and they do no repairs.

Almost looks like the car was heavily swirled and most were removed during the polishing and what is left over is from poor technique or not being aggressive enough.

Are you sure the pad was rotating ? In other words...Dont apply to much pressure - allow the machine to do its work.

I can say from experience that most auto body shops dealerships use are reputable and can repaint that stuff to OEM specs without issue.

Agreed their service is great. I bought a 2nd hand machine and after a few months had some trouble with it. They replaced it under their gift policy.

Don't forget to get a matching backing plate for the smaller pads.

I swapped a GG3 for a 2nd GG6 and added a 3.5" backing plate. I didnt have issues with vibration. I was impressed by the power delivery with the 4" pads.

I just recently tackled this type of repair on a highly polished stainless wheel...sand smooth 400,800,1500 and then Meguiars heavy cut metal polish followed by fine cut...It turned out pretty good. Your challenge is the machined finish but I bet most of that will clean up and then some...

I have the HF and the GG 6 had the PC - none "oscillate that well" at lower speeds because the power is getting cut back.
