Need opinions on what to do ???

I saw this on a Mustang Saleen that I worked on. His was a lot worse though. His had the chios in the barrel as well. I believe this is where it starts. I inspected it and it looked a lot like yours. I think it is a combination of poor prep work, or a problem with the platinh itself, in...

    First Big Purchase

I agree, PC is a great way to go for your first polisher, or you could go with the new Griots I think it has some more power than the PC now. The PC is awesome, I just wish it had a the lifetime warranty like the GG. I burned up my PC on a RV after my warranty was up....which is crazy because...

    Re-Introduction, Nice to be Back!

Thank you, I don't know how it is going to work out. Not all of them were paint corrections but enough that it would fill entire weekends because I wouldnt get home until 4 on Saturday which ate up half of my day alone. I kinda ticked off some people by leaving them hanging after waiting for...

    Swirls appearing after correction/OG

How do you wash/dry? Front to back/up and down or in a circular long looping motions? If you go up down/fron back and the swirls are circular I would tend to think the swirls were not completely removed. If they are linear and then it would be your technique.

What was your first detailing mistake/error?

I owned a black 1991 300ZX back in the day, I loved that car, so much so that I actually waxed it 3 to 4 times a week and washed it every day after school, never removing any of it, layers on top of layers...well I guess thats another thing lol. Man, those were the days. Anyways, I was getting...

    3401 Backing Plate Combo

I have a question for the guys that use the 4 in Lake Country BP. How has the foam held up? I love the "Flex" BP (original) and the foam has held up exceptionally well. I was just wondering how the Lake Country plates are holding up. Im about to pull the trigger on the combo but wanted to be...

    Hilton Head Island, SC

Some family members live in Beaufort which is about 30 mins inland, you probably wet through it on your way down. The last time I visited I saw one detail shop and that was it. I asked my cousins fiancé and he said that was the only one he knew of and he grew in that area.

    Detailing With Dry Ice!??

Very interesting. Notice how kept the jet of ice moving, probably don't want to stay in one place too long especially on the interior plastics.... I can see how it would make the job much faster. How does it "work" though? I guess it freezes the dirt to a point of being so brittle it just...
