Sorry I meant the new paint coating.

I'm looking at getting the DP paint sealant and was wondering if my bf gloss enhancing polish would work before applying the DP sealant. I just don't want to have to buy the DP stuff because I'm trying to keep costs down

I love the rupes yellow pads for polishing. I like using them more then the lc pads.

I had both and like the rupes a lot better. Therss a learning curve for the flex if your not holding it right it will walk on u. Also the rupes is better with the microfiber pads. Its just easier using the rupes I dont fell like I just got done doing a work out like the flex.

I never understand this. WIth the rupes you hardly need to put any pressure on it so i think ppl that are complaining its bogging down aren't using the machine correctly.

Blacklight didn't do much on my two blue cars. My favorite is BFWD. I have dark metalic blue on my impala and light metalic on my chevelle.

Wow when did the rules price increase $40. When I bought mine earlier the 21 was $399 now other $449. Wow that's nuts good way to steer ppl away. $400 was high but $449 is worse. Glad I bought mine when I did or I would of kept the flex.

Man i don't know why ppl are having problems with the rupes on curved panels. I did 6-7 cars and love it. If yu have problems on the curved surfaces your pushing to hard. WIth the rupes you hardly need any pressure so you shouldn't have a problem on the curved surfaces.

The colors really a ford silver off there f150 trucks. I believe the original color was green.

Just did my friends 70 chevelle ss. It was painted last spring so it was in good shape. used rupes 21 yellow 6.5 pad optimum spray polish meguiars and optimum mf pad fg400 BFWD.

I like using the mf pads on the rupes and the fg400 with great results.

Yes i have had the griots, flex and now the rupes. I have a hurniated disc, and two bulging discs so whatever makes the detail go faster and easier. The griots i hated because after doing a car i felt like my hands where still vibrating. THe flex was faster then the griots but it gave you more...

Why would you want or need that much pressure. PPL need to realize the rupes doesn;t need much pressure on it not like the griots or flex. Put the washer mod on and you would have to put a lot of pressure on it to stop it even on 5 or 6. If you need to put that much pressure on the rupes your...

I dont understand what mean by a certain technique with the rupes? Its the same as any da except u use less pressure. Its very easy to use now the flex is the one u need to really pay attention to your technique or it will walk big time on u.

Could u use the white pad to apply a lsp?

How do u like th e green pads. Ive been using the yellow with fg400 and like it. What lc pad would u compare the rupes green to?

The flex was just harder to control. I had it for 8months and it worked great but i just didn't like having to fight with it. I know everyone says keep it flat but its hard sometimes. THe rupes is quieter, smoother and it does the job just as fast if not faster then the flex and its a joy to...

It was faster but the nova is a garage queen so it really didnt need it.
