    Rupes test vehical.

I finally got the car out to see what it looks like in the sun after polishing and putting a coat of BFWD. It sure was easier with the rupes on the curves then it was with the flex.

Pad selection for Rupes 21? Stumped

I just used the optimum mf pads and the fg400 on my impala roof and was very impressed. I have tried the megs and LC mf pads also. I hate th LC ones and the megs ones are good but i like the optimum ones the best. As for polishing go with foam. Ive used both the hybrid and hydro ones from LC and...

    Flex 3401 or rupes bigfoot.

I agree the 21 hands down also. WIth the 21 you can pick up the 5" backing plate like i did and the 21 works great with the 5" backing plate so you get the best of both worlds. Just remember which ever one you get do the washer upgrade its worth it.

    4" backing plates works great.

I actually sold the flex right after I got the backing plate and bought the rupes. I love the rupes so much better.

    Problem with customer service.

I figured since i haven't got a response from customer service maybe someone can respond here. I ordered some optimum hyper compound about 2wks ago. I recieved it and had two different sprayers for it. One was a heavy duty one and the other one was cheaper made and i had to cut it to fit...

    Rupes 21 with 5"Bp.

Like i said i loved the correction of the flex but it was just too much of a handful for me. I would say the rupes corrects just as much and fast as the flex. PPl say there two different machines but i don't see it that way. I know the flex is forced rotation but you put the washer mod on the...

    Rupes 21 with 5"Bp.

I just recieved the 5" BP for my new rupes 21. I tried it out and it works great. Its smoother with the 5"BP then with the 6". I just need to get some more 5.5" pads. I just finished polishing my 68 chevelle and i'm so happy with the rupes. IF anyone isn't sure about how great this machine is...

    Cold weather blues

I feel your pain also. I just uncovered my chevelle because i really wanted to use the rupes. I polished the whole thing and put a coat of BFWD on it. I wasn't going to do it till spring but i just couldn't wait.
