You don't hear much if anything at all about this polisher . Im surprised Mark hasn't bought 4 or 5 of them and returned 4 or 5 of them and created 20 threads about this machine :xyxthumbs: So , has anyone used it , owned it , anything ?

has anyone tried the Makita random orbital polisher ?

I was able to lay down a thin coat of 16 and it was very easy to remove . This wax will make your car look great.

Thanks Mike for the great post. This wax is VERY hard to apply/remove but its worth it . I'm pleased at how the car looks after application . To me its worth the hard work. I'll post pics later

can you apply wax on top of this when its dry or is there no reason to put wax on this ?

I know its not easy to get but I have to say its a great product . It gave my 04 ZO6/Z16 A very EVEN deep gloss . Ive tried many products just like most of us here and was very pleased and surprised by this wax. Does anyone else have experience with this wax ?

I just called Griots . They said the new model has more torque than the old version. I don't know . All i know is my unit has random orbital written on it and it is very powerful .

when you pay extra for the 25ft cord , they call it the HD model, maybe they turn the HD MODEL up all the way ? Mine eats up pads like crazy , on # 6 . I like it powerful that way ....

I bought mine about a year ago . It says random orbital on the side but professional on the box. It is extremely strong and never bogs down under pressure . Mine came with the extra long cord .
