Purchasing a Flex XC3401: Could Use Some Help with Pads

Ditto for the hybrid pads. I have had my flex for just a year and bought the hybrids based on the forum feedback. Had a chance to use my older CCS and flat LC pads --- what I used on the 7424 -- and they did not work as well. Frankly, I didn't like them with the flex. The hybrids are the way...

    SHOWDOWN v2.0: Optimum Opti-Bond v. CarPro PERL

Has anyone noticed that opti bond turns the tire brown/leaves brown residue as it wears off whereas PERL does not? I have been a PERL user and tried opti bond last wash and noticed the brown residue today on my wash. Will A/B these 2 products on an upcoming wash and see if any difference is...

What is your "GO TO" interior protectant

UIPG is all I use now after trying many. It provides a richness to everything, especially the textured plastic parts like dashes. It is not shiny, but does have a slight sheen that says "I'm new", not artificial or fake. I use it thoughout the interior, including leather detail, but not for...

MF Sponges - Do you wash before 1st Use?

No concerns really...just know that washing new MF towels prior to first use is my routine and had never thought about the sponges before. Washing the towels I suppose will clean and "condition" them for use, and didn't know if the group treated sponges the same way.

MF Sponges - Do you wash before 1st Use?

Bought the 6 pack of MF sponges her on AG and plan to use them for a variety of applications in my car detailing. Do you wash these before first use? Like we do with MF towels?

    Leather cleaning

I do scrub with APC and a brush, then proceed to use the Leather Master series of products...cleaner, vital, protect. I recommend you look at the vital product. It is a conditioner that "moisturizes" the leather. I realize the leather in our cars does not absorb much, but in my recent use...

    Cleaning Interior between Full Details

Thanks. Is that a light cleaner, e.g., one that wouldn't mess up the deep cleaning and protectant I had done before?

    Review: P-Touch PT-1880 Label Maker

Swanic....you made me do it...got mine recently. Also got my bottles and triggers from us plastic...now I'm ready to go. I have got to work on a dilution chart for the variety of products, dilutions and purposes --- similar to the polish charts. Such would make the process easy...buy the...

Paul g....you're on to me....:xyxthumbs:...just trying to keep it looking good all the time and avoiding the cycle of full detail then nothing then full again, etc. Thanks. So I guess the cleaner and protectant routine is the way to go....thanks. Let me offer a new finding. I am going to...
