Quik Review - Sonax Spray + Seal

I think these Spray and Seal type products would be great for someone like my Dad who is getting up in years. They seem really easy to use,and relatively idiot proof.

    Most Under Rated Product?

Cool! I tend to be the other way around. I carnuaba top in the Summer. In the winter,I'm doing good to just wash a car due to being so cold natured.

    Most Under Rated Product?

This a very nice product! I use to use Gold Class wax back in the day. It was ok for the time I guess, but far overshadowed now. I got the Gold Class spray wax in a gift box a while back. It's a nice product! It leaves behind a very slick and glossy finish. Easy to use as well.

    Topper for speed

Well,as with anything, results may vary. I have found that very true in regards to detailing. I am glad that I saw WGDGPS does not play well with Speed. I had debated trying that combo.

    Topper for speed

What if you went over the Speed with IPA or some other sort of surface prep?? HD Poxy would be the most logical choice, but I have read mixed reviews about it's durability as well.

Stoner's Speed Bead Spray Wax vs Speed Bead Quick Detailer

I applied this product again a week ago. It rained quite a bit yesterday and some today. This product is already done again. It is cheap and looks good, but it has not provided the beading and durability.

    Matte/Satin tire dressing, recommendations?

Regular 303 Protectant and UTTG leave a matte finish based on my experiences.

Outdoor detailing for those that hate the outdoors

I love being outdoors! Summer and Spring are my favorite! IMO,it does you some good to sweat out some of the stuff we put in our bodies these days. I work in heat so I am used to it though. I did some claying and polishing on my wife's G8 Thursday evening, and there wasn't a dry thread on me...

What's the last form of exercise you've done?

Re: what's the last form of excercise you've done? My wife and I walked our Corgi last night. It was cool enough that we felt like we could take him on a pretty decent walk. Washed and did some claying and polishing work on my wife's G8 the day before. There was not a dry thread on me when I...

Gross! What's the dirtiest car you have ever seen?

Yup! We have a winner. There is a guy I work with who has asked me to go out to out to his vehicle and get something or roll up his windows. Good Lord,he has a nasty vehicle full of dirt and trash, but it is not nearly as new as the one pictured. My mother was a credit union manager. My parents...

The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

Thanks!! I was posting more to show how good the McKees rinseless is than to show off our car. The terrible picture does it no justice. Those cars have numerous quirks and some issues, but it's worth it owning one! It really needs a paint correction badly though. Probably gonna use Blackfire...

The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

Did a rinseless wash of my wife's G8 with Mckees 37 Rinse Free Wash and Wax. Topped the passenger side with BFMS spray wax. Turned out pretty nice. Tires dressed with Duragloss 281.

Drying towels: is the PFM by Griot's still the best?

I received my Gyeon Silk drying towel this week, and I used to to dry my wife's G8 off after a rinseless wash with Mckees 37 Rinse Free Wash and Wax. It is a very nice towel, but the PFM is still the champ. Not sorry I bought it at all,but the PFM is just better. I did the whole car with no...

Stoner's Speed Bead Spray Wax vs Speed Bead Quick Detailer

Bumping up an old topic... Put the Speed Bead detailer spray on my daily driver 2-3 weeks ago. We have had some pretty decent rain, but this product is already about done. Car hasn't been driven in the rain much either. I never got the nice tight beading either. I only paid 6 bucks or so,but...
