    souveran vs fuzion

I never had any luck with souveran, never got that really deep wet look. Until yesterday after 4 layers, each a day apart... finally got my deep wet with warm glow finish..... Finally! Fuzion is more flake popper, great on metallic paints.. not mirror-like finish, but just good brightness and...

New Car - New Ideas Needed :)

Afraid not that simple... your new car will go through miles and miles of travel between factory to destination, either via truck, ship or drove via road and along the way it's gonna catch rain, dust, etc. Now if you're selling a new car, would you want to have those when the customer come...

New Car - New Ideas Needed :)

How OCD are you? swirl are gonna be there... the more you 'touch' your car, the greater chance of getting swirl. If you're that annoyed by the tiny little imperfection then at least get a D/A machine, polish and LSP, along with the proper washing tools. If not, just go with filler glaze (like...

    Machine applied paste wax

I use what BobbyG mentioned... soft paint brush, gently brush it on top of the wax to make it melt a bit then brush it on the pad. Spreads thinner and easier. Scrape knife makes a bit of a chunk and the wax's still solid. I often find chunks of wax still attached to my pad and did not...

New Car - New Ideas Needed :)

I would spend probably about $400-$500 into detailing kits, enough to buy D/A and supporting detailing equipments (at least entry level kits), tons of selection on AG... spend the rest of the money into nasty 19" or 20" rims... it isn't bullet proof, but i can drive in style feel like one...

    Pinnacle and red

Is it solid red? Haven't tried this with pinnacle, but tried one LSP with similiar characteristic as Souveran and it did change it a bit orange.ish... Maybe it's the yellow carnauba? red+yellow=orange. That's probably the most logical explanation i can think of

    5.5" pad & 7"pad on Meguiars D/A

Just acquired lake country 5.5" flat pads and they please me a lot. Previously i used Meguiars 7" pads and lately they bogged down my G110v2, only slow rotational movement even at speed dial 5. It turned out that my pads are curved a bit (only after 4-5 car applications) and only when i...
