I was thinking about it, but i live halfway across the world, the cost doesn't justify getting them back and forth. Plus i lost my receipt already, bought them last year, was waiting for my old one to degrade and now this :(

Mine do the exact same thing... it's been washed half a dozen time and still no improvement, soaked it in white vinegar and warm water... still no improvement. I'm running out of idea and still have two brand new one

I have a question: sealant needs clean surface to bond... with glaze application before sealant, does it affect the sealant bonding issue in any way? Or does it have to be within the same brand to have that perfect bond?

Well i've read somewhere that mixing it up with opti-seal could solve this problem, you might want to look around for that reference.

This one is 85rd3.02, cut 3, gloss 1, all out of 1-5 scale. Heck i'm confused with the coding of menzerna, don't know whether this is a us or euro version or something else. But i'd say it's comparable to megs #83

I had that problem, and after a while it separates the liquid from the rest. Got answer back directly from optimum people and said to shake well for a few minutes should get it back to normal. Well, mine didn't so i figured it was a bad batch or something happened during shipment.

Tried D/A with Edge Yellow Pad+menz IP 85rd3.02 once, 5 x 1 minutes at the same spot on original toyota paint, still couldn't get through the clear coat. But I don't have a paint thickness gauge so couldn't tell how much clear coat was removed.

Dave, when you use it on 110v2 does it bog down a lot? Mine kinda stop rotating with the slightest pressure, so it jiggles around and sometimes rotates counterclockwise. Tried to spray qd for lubrication without luck either.. Thanks

It gets the jobs done, even for a DA. However i have a compatibility problem of the Edge2K setup with Megs DA, but fine on the UDMv1. They just don't want to rotate, guess the quick release adapter might be too heavy for the free floating spindle. I'm still waiting for someone to tell me what's...

Nah, nothing to worry about, you're on the right track... wait a bit more and you'll want more and more and more... by the time you realize you have a disorder, I'll be happy to take some of your stuff.. LOL

I also changed my edge system recently from my old UDM to Megs' DA and encountered some problems. Dunno about Griot but i'm also interested to see whether it'll work on yours...

Update.... strangely enough it only works with hard rubber washer. Tried to change it with metal washer and problem came back, rotating counterclockwise very slowly.
