During the winter you can use your ONR straight, or use a tire cleaner and rinse with ONR (make sure you wear some gloves if you are doing that). I agree with Setec Astronomy

ONR diluted to a quiick detailer spray

IN your garage ONR and warm water and MF to dry with will work just fine

Per Nick at Meguiar,s NXT has 0 cleaner,s in it

Another good combo is Meguiar,s cleaner wax first then NXT but NXT will stain trim

Meguiars upw will not stain trim and wipe off is EZ

I don,t have picture,s but I use Mother,s cleaner wax followed by Mother,s carnauba wax on white and I do get reflection but clay first

ONR will not strip wax now as QD there is no build up you are using it to clean with witch means you will wipe it off

It sound too me like you don,t have any oxidation if your pad is staying clean which ever one you are using is working that is if I read this right
