    Foam cannon soap thread

Cardaddy - When you use the Meg's Hyperwash in the cannon, how much do you use? When I use Mr Pink, I mix approximately 2oz with hot water in the cannon bottle. Same with Hyperwash? Also, when you say "sticky," is it difficult to rinse off? I feel like Honeydew is a bit more difficult to...

I have. I prefer the mr pink and Honeydew over the maxi. The maxi didn't foam quite as well for me. Let us know how it goes for you.

    Electric power washer recommendation?

I tried both of the Ryobi machines I posted earlier. Both worked well, but I chose to keep the bigger one. I didn't really notice a difference in the extra 100psi, but the bigger one was actually a little more quiet. Overall, it just felt better.

    Electric power washer recommendation?

Just for giggles, I did see this one, too. It is from Ryobi, but looks very similar to the Greenworks one. I haven't seen this in the store yet, though. Ryobi 2000-PSI 1.2-GPM Electric Pressure Washer-RY141900 - The Home Depot

    Electric power washer recommendation?

I currently use a Greenworks 1500psi. It works well, but I'm giving it to a friend and getting myself a new one. I've read nothing but good things about the Ryobi pressure washers. I picked up two of them this weekend. Now I just have to decide which one to keep. I like the fact that the...

    Pressure Washer Questions

This is a great idea. I'm going to find one of these. Do I have to make it or can you just buy one at HD/Lowes? I typically, run water through the hose before connecting it to the PW. Then I run water through the PW without a gun attached. Then I run water through the gun, and finally I...

    Foam cannon soap thread

I use a foam cannon with a cold water electric pressure washer. I've been doing it for a couple of years. I really like it. Is it any better than the 2 bucket method? Nah, I don't think so. It takes more time, but it does add entertainment value. A buddy of mine and I started at the same...

Mean Green Machine - 2014 Premier Edition Corvette CQuartz Finest, DLUX, Forte

Awesome results. Man, I love the C7. This is the first I've seen it in green, and it is beautiful! Nice work!

    Nanoskin

I agree with everything CJ said. I've been using Griots clay for over 10 years. Recently, I tried the Nanoskin sponge combo and I won't look back. If your car is in good shape, I agree - use the blue (fine grade) sponge. I just bought the blue mitt as I am sure this will speed up the process...

Foam cannon fitting for greenworks gpw2000 electric pressure washer

I can, but I'm not sure if the little thingies are together or spread apart when I do a fan spray. Since it is raining here for the next few days, I won't have a chance to figure it out. If you are currently getting a stream, I'd say put them in the opposite position of whatever they are now...

Foam cannon fitting for greenworks gpw2000 electric pressure washer

On no!! When you look down the "barrel" while twisting it, do you see the little flat thingies open and close?

Foam cannon fitting for greenworks gpw2000 electric pressure washer

Yes. The description, when you scroll down in the link, says that it also comes with the 1/4" male npt connector. That connector will screw into the foam cannon (use Teflon tape) and then you'll be able to quick-connect it to the end of your Greenworks wand. As mentioned in your other thread...

    Power washers?

This is the one I'm getting. It is still $159 at my local HD (Ryobi 1700psi Electric PW). I currently have a Greenworks 1500 psi 1.2gpm machine. It works well, but I like the design of the Ryobi much better. I bought a different trigger from Northern Tool and use a very short piece of...

Foam cannon fitting for greenworks gpw2000 electric pressure washer

Excellent. Yep, that one also comes with the 1/4" NPT male connector. I think it also comes with the M22 fitting which may let you remove the wand and connect the cannon (the way they connect in the Autogeek Fittings link I gave you. It is also the one referenced in one of the other threads...

Foam cannon fitting for greenworks gpw2000 electric pressure washer

I don't know if the ones from AG come with that connector. Let's think about this a bit more, though. There is a foam cannon made specifically for lower psi electric pressure washers. The ones I see here at AG, while I'm sure very good, are rated for higher PSI. Yes, they will work, but in...

    Nanoskin questions

I recently bought the combo pack of the sponge because I wanted to try the medium and the fine grade. I've used them both now. I'm not going back to clay. The nanoskin gives much better feedback, in my opinion. I've tried the sponge two different ways. Once I used the wash soap and another...

Is this the pressure washer you purchased? Shop Greenworks 2000-PSI 1.2-GPM Cold Water Electric Pressure Washer at Lowes.com If so, you want the silver fitting in the picture (post #3 ) in this thread: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/off-topic/88681-fitting-greenworks.html I thought this...

    Suggestions for a beginner

Congrats on the new M4. Awesome, awesome car. I do basically what some of the others have said. I use an inexpensive electric leaf blower to get most of the water off the car and out of the cracks and crevices. I then spray with Griot's Spray On Wax. You are supposed to apply this while...

HA! I noticed that, too! Roshan, we don't really know each other since I'm a relatively new member here, but I've watched your videos on your YouTube channel. Thank you for those! Keep them coming! Oh, and congrats on your accomplishments! Welcome back!
