For those who have both Fuzion vs. Chemical guys 50/50.

For a show car Fuzion wins here. Just remember it attracts dust like a nuclear magnet.

How long should this job take?

I work a lot slower than most folks. I would estimate this 16-18 hours.

    Most hydrophobic LSP?

I look forward to the results.

    Most hydrophobic LSP?

Water is afraid of 22PLE. Netshield is also a very nice product. I would be cautious of putting coatings on top of coatings. You cannot predict if they will play together or not.

    Question on Griot's 3" DA

Rupes 75E has no relationship to GG 3" other than being the same size. 75E is a revolutionary polisher.

    Severe pitting

The more you fool with it the worse it will get. The only thing that's going to fix that is to respray the panels.

    DA vs. Rotary

I learned on a rotary many years ago. If you're really good with one you can get outstanding results. I have not touched a rotary since Rupes came to America. No reason to. Consistent, fast, predictable results every time with zero stress or anxiety of doing damage. Best of luck with...

Now that's really great. It takes a true master to remove key scratches AND get it to blend with the surrounding paint. Fantastic.

Orange Peel - A slow victim of the DA?

I use 3M 3000-5000 Trizact papers to reduce orange peel and/or remove severe defects all the time. You can do either it with a rotary, wool pads, and "rocks in a bottle" compounds, but I don't recommend it. Wet sanding is much safer because it generates almost no heat. Clearcoats do not like...

    Worst month

April and May are always slow times for me too. I've never figured out why. Bigger cities definitely have a larger customer base, but make sure that the bigger city you are considering also has money. Bigger isn't better if everyone there is dead broke!

What Happened? Meguiars Microfiber vs Rupes Foam Pads

I use Meg's and Rupes blue MF pads with the Rupes Mini extensively and get outstanding results. However, I have never used Uber compound, only Rupes Zephir. The white spot is from the polish turning to glue and marring the surfaces. Meg's MF pads run really hot on Rupes polishers. Rupes run...

Detailing Interiors...Love It Or Hate It ?

Absolutely hate it. I won't do it unless it is a paint correction combo.

I think i have done it right? Chemical guys products

It looks very nice on black if you top it with V7. (Actually it is meant to be used with V7.) But by itself I really don't see any category that it performs exceptionally well in.
