That could almost substitute for my thoughts. :) Throw in QEW as another rinseless wash that works fine, take out the QD and window cleaner references and I echo your thoughts. I was not at all impressed with either product as a QD and I don't think I would ever replace my Meguiar's Detailer...

Two things I don't have. :) I do use shut-off valves and quick connectors, but I use plastic ones so there is less chance of dinging my paint in case I should happen to let things get away from me. That has never happened, but that just means it's waiting to happen some day.

Keep in mind that I'm a hobby detailer and don't get involved with really nasty vehicles. Meguiar's APC does a lot of things for me, but it might not do the same job for others. Some of the places I can and do use it, at least occasionally would be: Carpet and carpeted mats - Spray on, agitate...
