Given your main concern, I would recommend Chemical Guys Nonsense. It's odorless

I would recommend going with Poorboy's Spray and Wipe. It's formulated to perform in very hot conditions and it has more cleaning power than a traditional QD

That's what I thought too until I went back and re-read it. He did say he wanted that wet look "on his interior." I think a good compromise here would be Sonax Dashboard Cleaner. It's not shiny and greasy like Armor All but it does have more of a darkening effect compared to 1Z Cockpit Premium.
