My go to right now is HD Polish+. With Honda soft paint you'll be able to buff out most moderate scuffs and scratches. Use IPA after you polish and you'll be ready for Gloss Coat.

Haven't used Pinnacle but have had great success using Nu Glass with a cutting pad or a glass polishing pad on my DA polisher. Takes out the spots and leaves a nice surface. I'll typically follow up with Panel Wipe or IPA to get the surface squeaky clean before applying a glass coating/sealant.

Using the medium grade nanoskin may have done some damage to the coating. That's more aggressive than I probably would have gone. I would've focused on a good decontamination wash followed by a light clay only if the beading had not returned. You could try Iron X to see if the beading returns...

I'm not the OP, but I think Fuzion Spray Wax is closer to a traditional wax than Souveran. Fuzion seems thicker and creates a haze that you have to go back over and buff off. I'm guessing it will work but you likely won't get the advertised longevity from Opti lens by using Essence. I'm seeing a common trend amongst various coating users who apply over top of Essence (CQuartz excluded obviously). But you can always just reapply once it wears off.

Definitely buy wholesale or at a minimum buy when there's 20-25% off sale happening.

Similar to the OP and others in this thread, I too have difficulty finding time to maintain my car to the level that I want to maintain it. And my wife just doesn't place a whole lot of value on keeping a car clean, especially not at the expense of spending half a day (or more) in the garage...
