No that is false. HPC has a chemical scent. Its not a horrible smell but I surely wouldn't categorize it as pleasant.

So far so good on my Sierra with Megs HPC. Next week it will be 2 months old and water behavior is still insane. Parked outside 24-7, near trees. NO TOPPERS. Wifes Durango though will get Cancoat Evo next month. Chicago winter will put both to the test.

I'd skip the pre-wash if it were me. Assuming this is your personal vehicle and you regularly maintain it, that pre-wash isn't going to do anything to the paint that your Griots polish can't remove.

I'll be using this combo (Primer + Cancoat Evo) for the first time this weekend when I detail the neighbors Impala. They only take their cars through touchless carwashes so it'll be interesting to see how it holds up to the high ph soaps for the next 9 months, until its Spring detail.

I agree. The Sio2 Silica Spray is a RTU form of durable protection, not really formulated as a QD. I don't think its gonna hurt if you use it as a drying aid for every wash but it sorta is the wrong tool for the job. An expensive one at that! Diluting in HALF without knowing how concentrated it...
