True. I believe Amigo is supposed to be acrylic as well. I thought others have done durability tests with Amigo in the past and the conclusion was it does not have much if any negative impact on the LSPs longevity.

So one of two things is probably happening here. Either you need to get more aggressive with your pad selection to really knock out the deeper defects. Or quite possibly your towels are causing some marring as you wipe off your compound and polish. Porsche paint tends to be on the softer side...

Oh gotcha. Well since you're not done correcting it you might as well just polish off the aquawax. IPA might remove it but then again it might not. I wouldn't take that chance personally considering all the work you've put in already.
