Try searching this forum for the 'Hernandez polisher' Art added an extension and used 2" and I believe 1" pads on his GG3

I really like the round cotton applicators that came in my Cquartz kit. I actually preferred using them over the suede applicator. Don't think Carpro sells them separately but if you google cotton make up applicator I'm sure you'll find something similar.

What kind of car wash was it? Touch less or did it have some sort of brush?

Nope I have a bunch of PBL surface coating I'm still trying to use up before I make the jump to cquartz. So PBL then I topped that with reload

Here's the final results. Essence on a microfiber cutting pad using my Boss G15. All of this done on relatively soft jet black paint. No micro-marring that I can detect although I don't have any fancy indoor light set up. All my polishing is done outdoors.

Thanks. Just to clarify I wasn't expecting the paint to be any harder. Just surprised that I ended up needing the microfiber cutting pad this time around. Paint certainly seemed to respond differently this polishing session.

Figured I had to give a quick update here. Autogeek ended up refunding me my money even though they had already shipped the rest of my order that I had tried to cancel. So I basically ended up with two free 3" Lake Country pads. So once again Autogeek customer service pulls through. You guys...

Good luck with that. I also requested to have my order cancelled and they said sure no problem. But just got a shipping confirmation a few minutes ago... I'm sure all will be taken care of but definitely frustrating

I know my order was placed 9am Monday so I thought that was pretty early on. Really bummed out too but at least customer service was nice enough to cancel my entire order. Probably for the best as I have a brand new 32 oz bottle of M100 so I really didn't need the S3 gold

Yeah I'd love to get away with only doing rinseless washes on my truck just cause of how big it is. But it has stupid soft jet black paint that still gets swirls with a pressure washer, double foam cannon soak, two bucket wash. But I'm thinking this would be great to have for next winter.
