    Streaks after washing

Alas, I don't have a heated garage, since I live in a condo. There is one alternate method I've been using and it's worked well. After washing, I rinse the ONR solution off using water from a bucket, then dry using a WW to remove the majority of the water, then use as many MF's as needed till...

    Streaks after washing

Thinking I have hard water, I've been adding 1.5-1 ounce extra ONR, but it seems as though my water is not as hard as I thought it was. I'll drop it down to the minimum recommended amount of ONR with my next wash. And I'll be sure to swap out WW's more often. I think I may need more WW's...

    Streaks after washing

Greetings! I have a slight problem of streaking while drying my car after washing. I use ONR to wash, and my LSP is Poorboy's Blue Paste. I'm not sure if it's because of the chilly weather, or if ONR does not play well with Poorboy's Blue Paste. I use between 2.5-3 ounces of ONR per 3...

effect of spray waxes on lsp

Eagle One Spray Wax, believe it or not, is actually a pretty good spray wax. Cheap too. But please be aware that because of the extremely high solvent content it will strip off any LSP's that is underneath. For this very reason Eagle One can't be layered. For me, spray waxes turn my car...

Another funny thing happened on my way to work.

Greetings! There's a billboard that I pass on my way to work everyday. And on this billboard is an advertisement for a Christian radio station that's 'Safe for the entire family'. What's so odd about it? It's located directly above a Gentleman's Club. Gives a whole new meaning to the...

    Drying MF towels your thoughts??

A shoe rack as a drying rack. Never thought about that. Pretty good idea! I do pretty much the same thing. Small timer as well. Only difference are the really grungy towels which get a thorough hand washing first THEN placed together with the other towels. Hey, not a problem. We're all...

Is OPC safe on all wheel types?

Since you're already using an Optimum product, why not stick with that brand? I've only used Optimum's Opti-Bond Tire Gel with great results. Easy to put on and lasts quite awhile. I did a review recently...

    Drying MF towels your thoughts??

I hang my wet towels on a drying rack until fully dry, then store them away until I can do a full load. A clothes line is a good idea. Have you given any thought to a drying rack? Gullwing Drying Rack 64" : Target Polder® Stainless Steel Collapsible Indoor/Outdoor Dryer - Bed Bath & Beyond...

    End of days

Top of the morning to all of you! According to some people, the end of the world will occur on December 21, 2012. What would you do car related? Do a full detail one last time, or just say: "Ah, the heck with it"? Kinda wacky, kinda offbeat, I know. Just wanted to inject a bit of humor on...

Why would anyone use a DA for paint correction??

Unfortunately, I don't own a DA or Rotary polisher. Yet. All I have are my two hands, some oval LC hand pads and some sweat and muscle. I think I did a pretty good job for a newbie. But I know a DA will make things MUCH faster and simpler.

For a gallon of gas....that's ridiculous!!!

Wow, that's cheap! In 1998, TX gas prices were around .99/gal. *Sigh* Too bad those days are gone!

    Yeesh, $8.46 a gallon? Jeez!

For a gallon of gas....that's ridiculous!!!

I'm lucky to be living in TX. Last fill-up was about a week ago. Close to $30 @ $2.99/gal. $4.09 for a gallon of gas? That's outrageous!

Funny thing happened on my way to work.

Ooops! In my original post I typed in 'TPS' light. What I meant was 'TPMS' light. My bad!

Funny thing happened on my way to work.

Next time I have a tire problem, I'll take it to the nearest Firestone. Another lesson learned. The only reason I took it to the dealership was because they had a free shuttle service. Yikes, that has happened to my wife before. Took place at a supermarket parking lot. Someone put a bag of...

Funny thing happened on my way to work.

Greetings! About a week back, as I was on my way to work, my TPS light came on. I pulled into the nearest gas station and found a nail in my rear passenger side tire. After inflating, I drove down to my dealership to fix the problem. Okay, so far so good. I was running a little late and asked...

    Variety

Very great product. Cleans well, leaves a good shine, cost effective and environmentally friendly. Once you see how easy it is, you might never go back to traditional washing. Smells great too. Reminiscent of guavas. But that's just my nose doing the talking. LOL

    Variety

Greetings! My next AG order should be arriving by today. I am a big fan of ONR, so much so that I decided to spring for the gallon size. Thus far I've had great results. But as the old saying goes: "Variety is the spice of life". I've already tried Blackfire's Rinseless, and I was very...

    New Vehicle Protection Packages

I agree with BobbyG. Mix and match products of your own choice and offer them as separates or a package deal to your customers. Collinite 845 sounds great. DP's Poli-Coat Sealant has some great reviews as well, is affordable and lasts as long, if not longer than, 845. IMO, Opti-Coat or...
