    2 Speeding Tickets in 1 Hr! :(

I would venture to say it depends on where you're at and who the officer is. Cops are a mixed breed. We come from all different backgrounds with our own opinions on things. Here's a shocker - there are cops who are racists, sexists, addicts, alcoholics, liars, cheaters, criminals, and the...

    How To: Remove Bugs Safely

Max himself uses it on his Corvette. I can assure you, it doesn't marr the finish if used correctly. I've been using one for over a year and it works flawlessly. I found the key is to use it with warm water. Cold water doesn't soften it up. Warm/hot water and it is super soft. Colin

Here I am reading this thread at 1:30 in the morning when I come across your post. I think I may have awakened my wife with my sudden burst of laughter!! That mental picture is just way too funny. Colin

    2 Speeding Tickets in 1 Hr! :(

Nicely stated my fellow brother in blue. People claiming quotas still exist just make me laugh. Quotas are illegal. To the OP, I hope you don't plan on standing in front of the judge and saying you usually only go 10 over the speed limit or that you weren't doing the speed the officer said...

Whats the story behind your first car?

Well, my first car was a 1985 Chevy Corvette. It had the color-matched removeable targa top. The color was medium metallic grey with graphite leather. It had 72,000 original miles and was absolutely stunning inside and out. I purchased it in 1999 with the help of my parents. I got it from...

Man dies at 102 owns same car 82 years - great picture!

No kidding! I was doing some checking and that car would have been around $12,000. In today's money, that's just under $150,000!! That's gotta be one of the best graduation gifts ever!!!!! Colin

Man dies at 102 owns same car 82 years - great picture!

He was probably old school, wiping his car down with kerosene and an old rag. LOL. That car is HUGE, too!! The car completely dwarfs him in the big picture Mike posted. Colin

Man dies at 102 owns same car 82 years - great picture!

Hmm. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but with half your car being plastic, it just ain't gonna happen. We all know they don't make 'em like they used to. No harm in trying to beat his record, though. :dblthumb2: Colin

    What product? Inside of Wheels

Meg's Wheel Brightener would be my recommendation. And, no, it's not spray on hose off. You're going to need to agitate it. Colin

    Help me design my garage

I wouldn't go with a flat or eggshell paint. My garage was painted with a flat white and you can't even touch the walls without leaving dirty prints or smudges. You'll want something that you can wipe clean if need be. As far as the floor, if you decide to do epoxy flooring, prep is the...

Something better than a 2 bucket wash dolly system?

2 bucket dolly not strong? I think I could use mine to block the Range Rover up while working under it. And anyone who owns a Land Rover product knows that's all the time! Colin

98? Tacoma Shop Truck with 280K on the clock!

That body style Tacoma is the best, IMO. I had an '03 extended cab Pre-Runner I purchased new. Man I wish I still had that truck. Its not uncommon at all to see those with well over 200k miles. There's a reason why they command such a high resale price. Colin

    Tire cleaner?

Amazing Roll Off non diluted is fantastic on tires. It only takes a couple squirts to clean a whole tire, so the $25 per gallon goes a long ways. I used to use Meg's APC or Super Degreaser, but the ARO is even better. I cleans better with one application than 2 or 3 applications of APC...
