    Coating Maintenance Routine

I use ironx regularly and have no reduction in coating performance. The only suggestion I might have in your routine would be to wash after your ironx treatment instead of just rinse. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

    Exhaust tips

I have a nice Corvette to do for a friend. Complete detail and Carpro paint coating. I remember reading on here where someone was using P21S soap and steel wool. I don't have the P21S and don't know if I can get it locally and I am starting today. Any other good options that anyone uses? I have...

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Did a thorough detail on my wife's car, which I have neglected for a couple of weeks. Did a complete interior detail, pressure washed the wheels and fender wells, took it in the shop and did a rinseless wash with Ech2o and Reload. Dried and did a wipe down with Reload. Looked brand new...

Volvo XC60 Get's the Full Treatment

That's the same color as my wife's Volvo XC 60. Really nice work on a really nice car. That is certainly a lot faster than I can do that job. I admire your skill and efficiency. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

    MTM PF22 quick connect question

If that is a pipe thread, they are tapered so you will want to use tape or pipe rope. Be careful not to overtighten because you are driving a taper into a taper and it could split the fitting. Sometimes they just won't go in very far but it should seal if you tape the threads. Sent from my...

Who makes the diesel for that? I didn't know there was available diesels for those, that should be a great setup. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

    Coating finisher

I just reread my original post, and like a dumb@$$, I did say Cure. Of course I meant Pure. You guys are just supposed to know what I mean, no matter how I say it. Sorry for my mistake. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

    Coating finisher

Sorry if I made it confusing by the way I worded it guys. It is both. First application was Q2Pure, followed by Booster. Pure being the coating, Booster being a topper or enhancer. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Pure is not a booster, it is a mid level coating. At least according to Gyeon. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

    Coating finisher

Gyeon's website specifically recommends Booster up to 2 weeks after Pure and their other coatings are applied as a booster. Someone chime in that has used it this way. I hope I'm right because that stuff is pricey. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

I dug out my old sander today to do a little project. I bought this in 1982 from my neighbor who was 96 at the time. I have no idea how long he had it before I bought it but I'll bet it is from the 50's at least. It is a cast aluminum body and it is a vibrating son of a gun. But it still works...
