Torn on decision for 2016 Suburban.

That's what I always do when diluting products, just always remember to shake or agitate it before using. You'll be glad you coated the roof. Nice job. Sent from my SM-G955U using Autogeekonline mobile app

    Rupes

After watching these videos, and talking to my friend at the local body shop, who is a great detailed himself, I ordered the MarkII 15 mm today. I also order a supply of pads and compound. I think it's time to recover my wife's Volvo. Lookin forward to it. Sent from my SM-G955U using...

    Clear coated aluminum wheels

Did you wipe the wheels down with solvent before you sprayed the clear coat on? Sent from my SM-G955U using Autogeekonline mobile app

Torn on decision for 2016 Suburban.

I have a crew cab dually that I applied Car Pro Cquartz UK to. After the full prep of decon, clay, polish, wipe down and apply the coating. And it's a major chore, but in my opinion, it's the only way for me. My truck is white, so it seems to not show swirls as bad as a darker color. But wax...

    Clear coated aluminum wheels

I bought the citrus paint stripper like you suggested Boudin. In probably an hour all the clear coat was bubbled up and came right off. I'm amazed. I took pictures of the surface, it looks like little worm trails in the dirt. Should clean right up. I'll post some before and after pictures this...

    Clear coated aluminum wheels

Thanks for the help, since I'm only doing this on a trailer, it's only 2 wheels. Also, they are only polished on the spoke faces. Shouldn't be a big chore, looking forward to it now. Sent from my SM-G955U using Autogeekonline mobile app

    Clear coated aluminum wheels

Thanks Boudin, that sounds like it will get the results I'm looking for. I've used Mothers Billet polish for years and really like it. What grits of sandpaper did you use? I have some slight marring to fix before I polish. Sent from my SM-G955U using Autogeekonline mobile app

    Clear coated aluminum wheels

I have a motorcycle trailer with aluminum wheels that have a combination of paint and polished Clear coat. With almost no exposure to weather, the clear coat has broken down and allowed surface pitting to start. It's obvious the clear coat was poorly applied and won't last , which it's failing...

Glass Clening is driving me to drink

The glass cleaning dilemma used to work on me just like it is on you. My mom, who I thought knew everything, used to tell me to use Windex and newspapers. What a mess that makes!! When the sun shines on it, you can't even see out. I tried every combination imaginable, all with similar results...

    Rupes

What all you guys are saying confirms what i was thinking. The RV is so big that it makes sense to cover as much ground as possible. I did the RV before with the 3401 and its just a mankiller. Im anxious to try the Rupes. Thanks for the help. Sent from my SM-G955U using Autogeekonline mobile app
