How are my packages and prices

i think your bronze package needs an additional service to be worth it. plus u need to describe your services to make them more attractive. because if i am a customer looking at that price, im thinking what am i getting extra that i wont get for $30 at a car wash? they wash, vac, clean windows...

New! Griot's Garage Heavy Duty Wheel Cleaner - in Action!

i use oil eater for wheels now. 1 Gal = $11.49. 20:1 dilution for coated wheels so it goes a very long way. IMO, works better than OPC. But i must say, i have almost every griots product that ever came out, they all work very well. I <3 Griots. for an enthusiast who drives his queen more often...

Why shouldnt we wash our car when the paint is hot??

There are a few reasons why. 1. when surface is hot, the dirt, dust and grime gets kinda baked into the paint making it harder to loosen it up by pre-rinsing. the point of initial rinsing is to loosen up and rinse off excess dirt before scrubbing, so there is less of a chance of introducing...

Tried Optimum Power Clean = :(

Oil eater FTW! 20:1 ratio for coated wheels and tires and it kicks a55. 7:1 cleans the filthiest engine with ease. for $7 you cant go wrong. none of the above is a reason to switch to OPC. unless it deodorizes, that would be cool

how is a rotary faster than a DA style?

ooops, ya it should say 3,000RPM. ya not intended for anyone to polish at that speed , just a comparison so dont do it. Really i stand corrected though. you can not compare OPM to RPM. because OPM on a DA are Random. its not the same every time. Imagine how fast the paint would burn at...

how is a rotary faster than a DA style?

you kinda answered your own question there in your last sentence. Rotary buffers have forced rotation, DA (Dual Action) polishers oscillate(orbiting motion). The forced rotation from a Rotary creates more friction on the surface. More friction=more cutting ability. also, A DA polisher is...

Tried Optimum Power Clean = :(

I <3 optimum! i have to disagree with your comment that Megs APC+ is worthless though. it works wonders on carpets and upholstery and has more upside for interior than OPC in my opinion. yea OPC is more powerful, but thats about it.

i love the cobra's.. your Z is so sexy and clean. a nice drop and some wheel spacers for that flush look would really set it off

Is a dedicated carpet cleaner necessary?

i say stick with APC+, its all you really need for all interior surfaces. I use it exclusively on every job i do. here is how i dilute the product. dilution for cleaning carpet: 4-1(heavy duty cleaning for soiled carpet) 6-1 (medium duty cleaning)...

Megs MF DA system/G.G 6''/Honda Accord

no the disks spin fine with the Griots polisher, i love how it does not slow down under pressure using the Griots. I think you nailed it, i think i did an extra pass on a few panels that had heavy swirls. only 1 pass extra though. thanks tim

Megs MF DA system/G.G 6''/Honda Accord

thanks man... yea i need to try it with M105. i wonder if it has more cutting ability than the DA compound. yea idk why some areas were hard to wipe off, i think i used just a tad bit too much product since im used to working with product that requires more than this system.

How to prime a foam pad when using a DA Polisher

Thanks mike! this is something i never did the right way. i would apply product to the pad, the glide the pad across the 2 x 2 work area without turning the power on, then apply drops where the pad has no product, spread product on speed 1 and check again to see if any more product is needed. i...

im surprised no one suggested this, but i will. Megs microfiber DA system question

thanks for the reply.. your logic makes perfect sense. i figured with the 7Amp motor on the griots, it might not make a difference with 6'' v.s 5''. i never factored in the thickness of the disks though, so ya makes sense. i placed an order for the 6'' kit... thanks a million! if the 5'' disks...
