I have all 3 versions of their wash media. Personally I prefer the wash pad as its size is perfect for me. But the sponge and mitt are very nice as well. I use all 3 at different times for washes. The CarPro wool mitt is still one of my favorites. I had put it away for winter but got it back...

Personaly I don't think a Decon spray and OPC is enough to remove most waxes much less 3-layers of 845. IMO your best bet is to Decon and use a finishing polish quickly to make sure you are down to bare paint. Then do you Eraser step and go from there.

Unless you have serious body shop skills this will never look right. IMO it is a bumper replacement or see if body shop can fix it. They would know better than us most likely.

I didn't try it on any waxed trim. But I will find some trim and try it out and report back. For removing wax on trim I use BlackWow PreWow or an APC. I don't like to apply a dressing over top.

I am still in testing as far as durability. I am figuring it will be like many others and last a few weeks or rain showers, which ever comes first.

^ IMO a spray wax or v7 are fine as a top up product, but neither are great on their own. (Other than Opti car wax. This is the 1 spray wax that I feel can be a stand alone product.) It really comes down to what you like and prefer using. I am a fan of using matching products for protection...

IronX is the better at removing iron; and TarX is better at tar. Trix is for if you are trying to do both at the same time. But IMO a dedicated product is almost always better. So it really depends on what your goals and uses are...
