For the Klasse Pros - How to Wash

I would guess that the Sonus soap would work well with the Acrylic Spritz and Acrylic Glanz. So it should work with the Kassel stuff as well. You could always pick up the Ultima Acrylic Waterless Wash which works well. I use it at times for quick cleanups of door jambs, etc. But you...

    Review: Wolfgang PROFI Ceramic Coating

Mike, Who was the Project Manager on this new coating? Hopefully they can come in and answer some questions. What where the key data points and objectives for this coating? What were the comparable target coatings that this is targeting to trying to be better than? What is our baseline we...

Tenkor Apex Zero -G Water hose. (Or other choices)

I have one of these that I use for an add-on temp hose for some of my lawn care. It works for that since I use it once a month and it is lighter and easier to carry and can coil up and store in a small box. From my use I don't think these would be great long term for regular use and for...

Doubt in Rupes buffers and compounds

As a new member I would suggest you spend some time on here and youtube reviewing Rupes info from Autogeek as well as Rupes. I know Mike P. has done videos with Rupes talking about the Pads, Polishes, Machines systems. In overview Rupes made their Pads, Polishes, Machines to work as a system...

Do i need a paint cleanser before Klasse AIO / KSG

The Klasse AIO is essentially a paint cleanser with a little bit of protection.

    Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax

I believe the product code for Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax is – G190526 Based on that product code, I believe this SDS sheet lines up with the product. https://www.meguiars.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/G1905-Ceramic-Hydrid-wax.pdf

    Optimum glass clean & protect

I use this specifically with the Opti Glass coating as it is the best in terms of durability and water action I have found. Saying that I like this for a quick easy clean and to add a little extra. But I find that a dedicated cleaner like the Megs glass cleaner works better for really dirty or...

    New Product GIVEAWAY!!

The real question is how this will stack up against a MasterBlaster which to me is the main baseline. I have one and I am willing to test the new blower to it.

    Long Lasting Sealant/Coating

I will just add my past experience with CQ org and CQUK as both were very similar. After the first winter in Ohio the lower panels were loosing their beading and sheeting. A regular RESET wash cleared it up and everything was fine. I used ReLoad on a regular basis and didn’t thinking...

What Replaced High Gloss Acrylic Shield Spray's?

I found the Wolfgang spritz sealant to be only marginally better that a regular detail spray and expensive for what it is. I have really liked Optimum Car wax. It lasts 2-3 months on its own and works good on top of pwerlock. Other great options are: P&S bead maker. Renny Doyle Double Black...

What Replaced High Gloss Acrylic Shield Spray's?

When you detail what sealer (sealant) are you using? Or was this your sealant? There are so many new easy to use spray sealant and spray detailers that work extremely well.

    Menzerna High Gloss Acrylic Shield?

This stuff was discontinued years ago. Maybe as far back as 2010. So many new spray sealants and spray detailers out now.

Wasn't there a 'trick' to aid in removing Klasse SG?

If am ever using a "trick" to get KSG off I really like using Sonus Acrylic Glanz Spray Sealant. I like it because it is made to work with the Klasse products and this is another layer of protection.

    Hyper Wash vs. Duragloss soap?

I have gone through gallons of both soaps and based on my use and preferences this is what I can say. IMO they are equal and it really comes down to personal preference. If you want to try something new then try the DG. But I wasn’t super fond of the cherry cough syrup smell it had in the jug...

Gyeon leather coat vs leather shield and conditioning

I have been using the GYEON Q2 Leather Coat as I usually do an interior wipe down once a month and the having this last 2-3months let’s me re-apply more often. I just have not seen the need to use a leather coating since I can’t get over the long term wear effects and trying to decide when and...

2018 VW GTI Alloy Wheels and Painted Calipers - Which products are safe?

The best and most durable way would be to pull the wheels off. This is also the best way to coat wheels so you can do the inside and the outside easily. Yeah you are correct with the process. Hydro2 works great as a stand-alone sealant and as a coating topper as well. I have jack and a set...

Optimum Gloss coat lacks sheeting beading

I noticed you are in Illinois and if it’s anything there like it is here in Ohio you are experiencing a lot of spring time and high amounts of pollen. Pollen is a nasty little bugger and will cling to surfaces and effect the appearance or lack of appearance of protection. It is also very hard of...

2018 VW GTI Alloy Wheels and Painted Calipers - Which products are safe?

Both of these reasons are why I coated my wheels and calipers as soon as I got my car. My wife thought I was nuts as my “new car prep” took almost 2 weeks and I got the car with the plastic still on it. But now it is super easy to clean and looks good even while dirty.

2018 VW GTI Alloy Wheels and Painted Calipers - Which products are safe?

I know that these 3 are safe for sure on my '17GTI. I don't use Meg's Wheel Brightener so I don't know. Wolfgang Uber Wheel Cleaner CarPro Iron X Sonax Wheel Cleaner Plus I would suggest looking at and coating your wheels and calipers. I did mine and just topped them up again this spring.

    Losing the willpower

I do understand this and have run into similar issue with my time during the week. But I have a desire to take care of my vehicles so I set aside time early on the weekends during my days off to wash and care for vehicles. Any reason you can't do this and wash 1 vehicle per day so you limit...
