on my stainless tips i use 0000 on the outside if its needed but on the inside i use coarse as it cuts thru the carbon etc much faster and leaves a clean look. also i always use nitrite gloves on the inside to keep the gook off my hands.

dont forget about ultima sealant. its much easier to use as it is a one step product. wipe on/walk away. i love it and feel it would hold up well under snow and ice. i tried bwd on a split panel comparison thinking it would be better than us but it wasnt plus i had to 2 step the product...

always use a semi gloss or gloss to repaint your walls for partial/full water resistance. i learned the hard way. sheetrock and trim DO NOT like H20. as above i would use drapes on the walls first.
