    Meguiar's Paint Protect (spray version)

I am pretty sure I'm going to be testing out Solution Finish and Paint Protect in the near future. To see how they compare to each other on trim. Thanks for the tip Kevin.

    Meguiar's Paint Protect (spray version)

I am doubting it'll work better, however, I am hoping it works just as good.

    Meguiar's Paint Protect (spray version)

Hello everyone, So I sanded my headlights with 1,500 and rotary buffed them and polished them with M100 and M205. I haven't had much luck with the headlight coatings. Plus they are pricey, so thinking from a business point of view. Since Meguiar's Paint Protect is advertised of having 365 days...

Maybe we have to wait for the other half, for it to finish the full circle?

Advice on 2010 Jeep Wrangler Paint Correction

Here is a Jeep I did. I used D151 and a orange B&S polishing pad since it was silver. However, for a darker vehicle, like a black one. I might look into trying a polishing pad vs a medium cut pad. IMG_9804_zpsizpd4qzc.jpg Photo by ScreamKingArt | Photobucket

Advice on 2010 Jeep Wrangler Paint Correction

Since you said the vehicle is black. I would go with a polishing pad, not the orange ones. (Lake Country makes orange medium cut and white for polishing I believe.) It all depends on what level of polishing/paint correction you want to take it to IMO. If I was going to do paint correction, I...

Not sure why it came out all crooked, but you guys get the point lol

    Wanting to try Rinseless wash

I had an empty bottle (forgot what they are called) but transferred some D114 to it and should make pouring it relatively easy and since the bottle is small, it'll be be easy to take it along with me when I go mobile. Since I normally just do rinseless washes before I get to polishing.

    Wanting to try Rinseless wash

I ordered a gallon of D114, have never tried it though, but have confidence in Meguiar's. So I'm sure I won't be disappointed. I have tried UWW+, ONR and Pinnacle with Carnauba. I would say ONR was my favorite of the 3. Second would be UWW+ and disliked Pinnacle because it could only really...

Suggestions on what pad to use please

If you go with the Meguiars MF cutting pads, you might as well use something that they were designed to be used with. That is Meguiars D300. http://www.autogeek.net/meguiars-da-compound.html I guess technically you could use Sonax PF with the MF cutting pads, but it's a polish not a compound...

Suggestions on what pad to use please

I like to use these pads for the cutting step. (Generally speaking) the 5" pads would be good with your setup. http://www.autogeek.net/5in-microfiber-cutting-discs.html

Suggestions on what pad to use please

I've also found the PC with a 3" BP setup is a killer combo IMO. I was able to remove 1000 sanding grit off of some headlights I did. Tried it just for kicks, so not suggesting you do this. Although if you think about it. If that setup can remove 1000 sanding grit. Then you could imagine how...

Suggestions on what pad to use please

I think using different pads and liquids will give you closer results that you are after. The combination that you are using, while good, is just removing the light swirls and adding gloss to the paint. Which is ok if that's what one is after. However, you are now exposing the deeper swirls...
