Here's a tip, the "under promise and over deliver" works great in these situations. (True Story, I'll let you guys do the math on that ;) )

I'd say I didn't notice a difference in noise. Meaning, when I turned it on I wasn't "wow it so loud or wow it a so quiet." Just reminded me of just picking up another polisher. However, it was really light and really smooth. I did ask if it would work best with a 5" or 6" bp or if it didn't...

I tried finishing at 1500 with the same setup. PC, M100 etc..., and thought that was easy. So I then thought, we'll just to test it out and see how this setup holds up against 1000 sanding grit. I wad able to do it, but the time it took to remove 1000 sanding grit outweighed the required...

I used M100 and Meguiars 3" MF Cutting pad on speed 6 . (Not recommending this btw) :)

This year passed by fast! I remember last birthday here on AGO and my heart pizza from my Mom. It would be awesome if we could get that TNOG scheduled together for our birthday's. I have to get off AGO, if Kyle see's me he'll give me a hard time, cos I'm on a date right now lol :D

I was outside when Mike Stoops started talking about it and missed most of it. So I ended up editing it out. Mike did ask the group if anybody works at a body shop and everyone pointed at me that night lol.

This is 1000 grit being removed with my porter cable.

I've been experimenting buffing out 1500, and 1000 on a PC. To start stopping at 1500 instead of 3000. So far so good
