Which Lake Country Pad for Finesse it II

Always as a rule of thumb start with the least aggressive combo. You can lay a strip of tape down and then begin your test spot. Do one side with the green pad and the other side with the orange pad. Compare and go with the combo that produced the best result. If you still have oxidation left...

POLL - What's the number one most important factor when it comes to polishing paint?

Hey Steve! I know you like the GG BOSS compounds/polishes I need to get some of that. Yes all three are big names in the industry. The two that I mentioned that had great results were under the AG umbrella the 3rd was not. I agree changing the pad should yield different results. I just wanted to...

POLL - What's the number one most important factor when it comes to polishing paint?

Before reading through most of the posts on the thread I did vote for paint. My though was let the "paint" speak to you, change your polish and or your pad till you get the desired results. So after reading Mikes explanation and choice of abrasive technology I thought back to when I was at...

    Detailing a Glass Roof

Search for glass polish on the Autogeek site. You may want to try Wolfgang Perfekt Vision and a foam pad. I use it and have had good results with removing water spots and also to prep glass before a glass coating. Usually there is a rubberized trim gasket around the glass you may want to tape...

Which Lake Country Pad for Finesse it II

You could try the LC Thin Pros Grey is very heavy cut, Orange has less cutting ability than grey and white is for polishing. But with gel coat and based on the condition of it, you may want to try the orange pad. Your pad selection will vary based on the condition of the gel coat. The LC Thin...

    Mold removal and prevention

Thanks Mike for this write up, great information to have if I or anyone ever run into something like this. Any tips on hitting the air ducts? Maybe mist the disinfectant in the vents then recirculate the air with the cabin closed up for a bit? Thanks!

Cyclo or Rupes for my first polisher?

Just going off your two choices, I'd go Rupes. I don't have either machine but I do have experience with both. For me, ergonomically its nicer to hang onto the Rupes style of polisher vs Cylco. I currently use a Flex 3401 as my main polisher. No bashing here just my 2cents the cyclo is big...
