I also use a HD bucket I found in the paint aisle. It is white with foam rubber on the handle. The grit guard fits close to the bottom in it.

I believe it does remove wax. I'm not sure everyone would agree with the term "properly". Maybe some of the CG or other offerings would be a better choice. But YMMV. It should be OK though.

Just put together my K 5.740 machine and my foam cannon connection looks just like swanciyouth's setup. Going to give it a try today.

I might need to get some FG400. The most abrasive polish I have is IP2000, which may not do the trick. Either way, I hope to finish up with either SF-4000 or 4500.
Thank you for the info.
Amazing and great job. Interestingly enough, I will be working on my wife's 2012 Deep Sea Blue 328i convertible in a week or so. I have one question though because I have some swirls to remove also. What contributed to your decision to go with the FG400 instead of something less abrasive?
Bought the 15mm recently. I am just an enthusiast and only work on family cars so I felt that this model would get the job done just fine. Hoping the weather improves enough here on Long Island so that I can put the machine to good use.
I have the same set up, Karcher Series X and the AG foam cannon, although I am waiting for weather to improve here on Long Island to put it all in play.
And thank you Dr_Pain for the nice review.

Thank you. I have a new Karcher series x sitting in a box in the garage waiting for warmer weather to be put together and put through it's paces.

I put a coat of 845 on my daughter's X3 last November. Finally had a chance to wash the car last weekend and it still had a decent amount of shine left. Had a little time to put a quick coat of 845 on the hood. It only took a few minutes to apply and, after about 5 minute wait it wiped off nice...
I proceed one product at a time on the entire car, from first product to last. Plus, if you are using a sealant that needs some time to cure and plan to top it with a wax, I can't imagine doing it any other way.
