    M3 , SIP + finish pad?!

Looks awesome. Nice wet look. Using a finishing pad with SIP meant that you did not need as much cut?...Is this correct?

    Waxing with a Rotary?

Use a DA or apply by hand using a sponge applicator. Rotary introduces unnecessary heat and you are really not polishing.

    Enclosed Mobile Detailing Trailer

******************* LOVE OU football, unfortunately, I am nestled in the Macon/WR region. Good PW guys who actually run a bonafide business are far and few in between.

    Enclosed Mobile Detailing Trailer

****************** I agree, I will likely just either get a 6x10 or look for a good deal on a used van. I have a PW trailer so I don't really need water supply or PW washers~ my trailer has two.

    Enclosed Mobile Detailing Trailer

**************** That's the way I have my truck lettered, with magnetic signs. My PW trailer has lettering on the tanks which is really cool. Folks are always intrigued with rolling billboards, which is one of the reasons I was going to get the little trailer. I saw another PW guy with a pickup...

    Enclosed Mobile Detailing Trailer

***************** I agree...I have always wanted a van but was trying to avoid another insured commercial vehicle. I am tired of hooking and unhooking trailers.

    Enclosed Mobile Detailing Trailer

************** It is made by ALUMA and is an all aluminum construction. I would store my chems and sprays in plastic containers that are all the same sizes in this way nothing will move around much. I agree the price is stiff. I may just use the back of my enclosed Pick Up bed and still use the...

    Enclosed Mobile Detailing Trailer

I was thinking of using this enclosed trailer to haul my detailing supplies and equipment. What do you all think? I do have a pickup truck with a canopy but did not want to tie up the bed. In addition, I could letter the trailer and mount a small PW at the front on the tongue. It is about...

    Falling asleep at the wheel.

I do pull over when I am tired because I am constantly reminded to do so by my always caring wife. This is especially true when traveling along the interstates. Sometimes I will pull over and buy something to eat and continue along my journey. Eating while driving keeps me alert (peanuts, snack...

HACK DETAILERS- you gotta love them!!

Dealers are in the business of selling and simply moving cars. They spend little or no time on PDI, for which they have been already compensated to do. All you will get is a wash and a ball cap or a key ring after you sign on the dotted line. Heck I was at the BMW dealer picking up my car and...

    Greetings from Cut Bank Montana

Welcome. It is not so much to prevent Canadians from sneaking in, but other criminal oriented ones. Love Montana and its rolling hills, which seem to go on forever. I remember driving with speeds reaching 120+ MPH and not feeling it initially as a result of the up and down motions. You will...

    Suggestions?

SIP and PO106/PO85rd should work well, but you should test as suggested by TD and PAR. Clean towels are a must. Use the baggy test if unsure about remaining contaminants. A clean surface does require a lot of prep, but it is your time and well worth the effort. Remember you will only polish...

Using 4" pads with PC for entire car?

With a rotary, I find that the 4" pad works best in tight areas and along wavy lines. They heat up a lot faster which means that you have to adjust your RPM lower. This not the case with the DA. even with the 4" pads, cutting can be a pain when working on larger areas.

    Rims

I was working on a F150 last year and encountered the exact same thing. Used some mother's Mag Polish, which cleaned it a bit better but no much. The clear is compromised and the best that you can do is to refurbish.
