White definitely does not shine or look as deep as the darker colors, but it does seem to stay clean longer. I have had 3 black vehicles, and each time I said never again. But IMO nothing looks as good as a black car all shine up.
Or, even some of the dark reds and blues of today.
At first I thought you were going to be wasting you time, but it did give it a nice little shine. And if he is wanting to keep the Patina look, you gave him a nice shine and some protection.....
Good work.
If it wasn't for you saying it was left outside, I would of thought it was smokers film on the inside.
Nice job on restoring it. Now it looks like a Craigslist item.
No, one-step first then a topper like the Black fire wax (or any other). Just wondering if a one-step topped with something affects the durability of a LSP....
It's a rubberized coating to help with rock chips and such. Kind of like the clear film that different manufactures use behind the wheel well openings or rocker panels.
**BUMP**
Mike, does using a one-step affect the durability of say using the Blackbird Liquid Hybrid Wax as a topper? If so, do all one-step affect your topper?
Thanks, Greg
Was hoping to make it over that way and maybe get to meet you, but my father was having a bad day. Hopefully one day we can get to Stuart and see your part of the country.
Have a safe trip home.......
Had scattered showers since Thursday. Yesterday day was chilly and today is sunny and 70 with dirty cars and tall grass. We'll knock out the 2 yards today and clean tomorrow. Then wait for the rain to start all over Wednesday......
