    Winter maintenance

Hi Bobby, I'm sure you are probably getting that bad weather already. I have heard good and bad about them. The bad is that the soap is so strong it starts to eat away at what ever wax/sealant you have on there. The reason it's strong is to do it's job since it's a touchless wash. Hopefully...

Please Help Me With A Long Term Protection Plan For My New Truck.

I have 2 White vehicles. I have tried different products being a detailing addict, but Finish-Kare 1000p seems to give it a glassy look that other products don't. And the durability is awesome. You can put it on the whole car, but just put it on THIN and it comes off easy. I think it will...

    Antique Car Detailing Clay

Zip-loc baggie. Maybe that will save you the $250. I threw the extra $50 in because you would have to take her out after running all over Bed Bath & Beyond. That's from college shopping there for my daughter experience talking......

Using Iron-X in a rinseless wash situation?

Just wondering. i have only used an Iron remover once. There's just something in my head about the word's "Iron Remover" that I haven't used it more. And I have 6 bottles sitting on the shelf in the garage. Now after reading this thread and the one Mike linked it from I have to ask, what does...

    Getting Into the Little Areas

Mike, What about the big dollar cars you do? Or maybe one your doing for a Concour's. I figured not the everyday driver, but these I would think it would get done.

    Getting Into the Little Areas

If you have a Meijers near you, you might check around the car care aisle. I came across a bag of about 100 Q-tips (about 5 different sizes). I think it was about $7.

Meguiars comes into the Ceramic age.

My daughter went to school in Cleveland. After the first couple of trips we started to rent something to take her and pick her up instead of screwing our vehicles up due to the roads having potholes all year round as big as the Grand Canyon. Three times in the winter we had black SUV's. When we...

Thinking of getting a black car, that crazy?

I have owned 3 solid black vehicles, now I own 2 White. Stays clean looking longer, but not as impressive as a dark color after washing them. After I got rid of each black one I said never again and then I got dragged right back in. Each time we go car shopping I have to look at the black ones...

Meguiars comes into the Ceramic age.

Agree with you on the real world testing. But I think sometimes they give you a idea of how well it can hold up. Especially, if someone takes their car to a Swril-a-matic instead of hand washing it at home.

I saw where not only are they coming out with the professional products, but the consumer ones also.

    Griots One Step Sealant Mini-Review

I bought this and a few of their other products a few years back. I haven't been impressed with any of them, especially for the price. I might of also got about 2 months out of it is that. There are better brands out there at least in my opinion. I have not tried any of the "Boss" products yet...

    Blackfire One-step vs. Mckee's37 360 AIO

Will have to give this a try. While I was searching for Citra-blast, I even found how to make your own using vinegar and citrus peels. Wonder how that would clean with the vinegar mixed in?

Just saw this on their site. Anybody seen or heard anything about it? Wonder if Professor Phillips will get to play with any of the products at SEMA and fill us in on it when he comes back? And if/when Autogeek may start stocking it. YouTube

    Blackfire One-step vs. Mckee's37 360 AIO

Thanks. I have some of each of the McKee's 37 cleaners and the APC from them. When I finally get a chance to do my Dad's T-bird, I will give them a try.

    Blackfire One-step vs. Mckee's37 360 AIO

Thanks Wonder if it could be the sealant in both of them. I think both polishes are water base. I know I have found out that using a couple of the sealant only products make the pads hard to clean.
