    I hate black

I truly believe black is the color to buy. No matter what, black just looks good when it is clean. I have a feeling you are getting streaks with the sio2 due to application technique. I have had Turtle Wax Ceramic Coating, Turtle Wax Wet Wax, and Griots Garage Ceramic 3 in 1 all streak for...

Quick tip regarding wet/dry vacuum filters

I guess most can be cheap, but I can really be cheap. And my wife hates it because she says “you never want to spend a penny.” I want to tell her “yeah for every dollar I spend on my stuff you want to spend three. So, for the record she doesn’t see half of what I spend due to my creative...

    What creates "cloudy" looking paint?

I’d like to know how to get those clouds out of that paint? I suffer from the same issue and I try and try but to no avail they keep coming back. Sent from my iPhone using Autogeekonline mobile app

    Glass cleaners with water repellant.

I currently use and have used for years D120 but a few years back I did buy the Pinnacle glass cleaner and coating (still use the coating). What is it about the Pinnacle that you don’t like? AG states it’s safe for tint And if I didn’t already use D120 I would definitely buy it. Sent from my...

Need a really good bug melter - ECH2O doesn't touch bugs

I never knew American Detailer Garage or Fuzion existed. I really wish that Mike or someone from AG would do some videos showcasing products available on AG by category. There sure are a lot of hybrid washes out now. I currently use CG Hydrosuds or Griots and am very happy with those. But I...

Need a really good bug melter - ECH2O doesn't touch bugs

In my experience most bug removers do the job. Some will state to put it in your wash but I never do. I’m using chemical guys bug and tar remover wash and spray it on then let it dwell. Usually they wash off pretty easy. Griots has worked well for me in the past. On my coated car and my two...

Help with Single Stage and Megs #7

I grew up with a couple of brothers whose dad was a paint and body man and then they followed up with the business. They all loved #7 and introduced me to Meguiars. #7 has been around a long time and is in my opinion great stuff. I’ve been sing it since high school In my experience since #7 is...

Ceramic coating for preventing micro/mini srcatches?

A coating can be scratch resistant. Not scratch proof. From my own personal experience, a specific section (albeit a small section) of my hood is 100% defect free according to my eyes. I applied Gyeon CanCoat on the car and have washed the car at least 10-15 times since then, maybe more using...

    Removing Insects After/Wax

What I find works very well for me is whether I have a coated car or not I apply a couple of layers of Collinite 845 to the front. I’m sure any wax will work but I really like 845. Then every day or 2 or 3 I spray some WW (currently N-914) and they wipe off very easy. Just got back from a...

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

A shout out to my Texas neighbors. I did like the griots Black shine. Definitely dried to the touch which I liked. I applied, then after 1 minute wiped. Tires did come out a little glossier than I liked but the wifed loved it.

Can a foaming waterless wash handle dirtier cars than regular waterless wash?

I am 100% sold on Waterless and Rinseless washes. I also believe product, towel, and technique makes the world of difference. With having stated this, the learning curve tells me you will scratch some paint until you find the product and towel that works the best on your paint, as well as you...

Are any of you using aerosol tire dressings?

This might seem crazy but I have never had endurance sling on me, or that I could tell. I apply it on all 4 tires. Clean my glass then wipe down the tires with my “as previously stated” nasty terry towel. Plus it’s on a black car so maybe I just can’t easily see the slinging.

Are any of you using aerosol tire dressings?

You know in the scheme of things does it really matter? Well, I have always complained to myself about Meguiars Endurance having this greasy residue left over even after I buffed excess off, that when I wash my tires I have to use an old unwashed nasty terry towel that I throw away after a...
