sorry - been out n about - c1 30ml is enough to do a single 5 series car. it is a chemically bonding quartz coating so it is essentially a permanent coating. but tbh - your hand will be twitching for your rotary sooner than that as no matter how careful you are and even wiht the scratch...

and carnauba wax just won't adhere too well and is much less functional than EXO

if you want to put a 'nuba wax on (we're not a fan ), i would recommend c1 as the base and then put your carnauba wax on.

there are other pure shampoos around - dodo btbm is one - not done much product testing for US shampoos but I am sure there are others out there. not a fan of snow foams as they are quite often comprised of caustic ingredients. yes they clean well but so does a good pure high quality shampoo...

sorry - been travelling for a few days. to answer the question "Can / Should EXO be placed over a coating like OC, CQ, C1? " yes it can - it will bond to all of this class of coating ie covalently bonding silicon dioxide/carbide coatings. and of course it should  seriously. not...

yes you can. I personally find those block pads a bit awkward but if you get on with them there is no reason you cannot use them.

see the vid posted above and this one for instructions. c1 is a doddle to apply. for the applicators. use one for about 2-3 panels and then bin it. any mf cloth is fine - we recommend short pile dense mf cloths preferably with a 30% polyamide content as these remove residue much better than...

yes - silo seal will be affected by strong apc but c1 will be fine. tbh one of the benefits of using our range is that you will not need strong chems to clean your car. we much prefer that people use a high quality shampoo with pure shampoo ingredients such as our g-wash rather than using...

either would be fine. you just need to ensure that whatever you use is sufficiently soft so that it won't introduce swirls into your finish

c1.5 does not have a covalent bond so it can be applied as you would any physically bonding sealant. it can be applied over glazes/waxes/other sealants too. best way is to spray onto a mf cloth, spread and then buff with a second working one panel at a time. 2 coats is optimal. any more and...

we recommend using silicon remover (called panel wipe in the UK). Mike says he has a product in his store called Prep-All - had a look through the MSDS sheet for this and this would be perfect. IPA/Eraser aren't as good at removing polish or other residues.

    GTechniq Scratch Resistance?

c1 has scratch resistance. exo has some but not as much and c1.5 none at all. but for us probably the biggest factor for prevention of swirl build up is dirt repellency. if a surface requires less frequent washing and if when you do come to wash it you have to use less passes to clean the...

yes. not a fan of long pile mf cloths. short pile quality (30% polyamide) cloths tend to be faster at removing residue = less passes on the panel = less chance to introduce any marring into that finish that you have sweated blood and guts to achieve. we are bringing out a suede type mf cloth...

it's c1/4/5. they all have the same active ingredients to produce the same film. The cure rate is ever so slightly different but each product will work just as well in place of each other. c1.5 is a completely different product. it is siloxane based (hence the name) but it doesn't have the...

with the recommended 2 coatings you will get between 6 and 8 cars. recommended application is to spray onto a microfibre cloth and spread with this and remove residue with a second. this way is more efficient and faster as you will only have product on the panel you are working on.

only for c1/4/5 which only come in smaller sizes. this product uses a covalent bond to bond with anything plastic which includes acrylic paint/gel coat/polyster urethane paint/trim/rubber etc. all the other products we do are different but as with most coating products, you can use them for...
