I have some Dr. Colorchip from October of 2010 and I just received my first rock chip on my trunk lid of all places :cry:. Needless to say I'm not happy! Anyhow, I have plenty left, but since it's almost a year old I wonder if I should just get a new bottle. What do you guys think?

Is there any practical difference between regular carpet cleaners and spot eliminators? I'm aware of the different purposes for them, but any reason one couldn't do the job of the other?

This is the only Poorboy's product I've come across that I've not been thrilled with. I have the Spray and Gloss detailer, but I've not used it yet.

I don't know if it makes a difference or not, but because I'm uptight I do have pads dedicated to each product line. Not so much for polishes, but I certainly have pads dedicated to waxes and sealants from certain manufacturers.

I really like using both products. I use OPC for the interior and Cleanse-All for the exterior. My question is do I really need to use both? Cleanse-All is a strong cleaner, but how does OPC compare in strength? Will OPC do as good of a job on the exterior as the Cleanse-All does?

I've been using DP Pre-Extractor Treatment to clean headliners with. It works very well and haven't encountered any problems with it. However I've been wondering if that cleaner presents any danger to the adhesive?

I have a black Camaro and it had lots of swirls on it. I was able to get a mirror finish using nothing other than a PCXP, white and grey Lake Country pads, and Meg's UC followed with 85rd.

Seems odd, I would think a metal polish would be thicker in consistency.

Just got my first bottle of Optimum Metal Polish. It has a very watery consistency.......is this normal? I was expecting a much thicker consistency.

What do you guys use? I'm looking for something that I can quickly spruce up the wheels and tires with that I can just spray and wipe? I've been using Meg's Wheel Detailer which has been fine, I'm just wondering if there's anything that might be better.

I've used Menzerna Top Inspection and thought it was okay, but I really like the Griot's Pre-Wax cleaner much, much better. According to this thread started by Mike Phillips, using IPA undiluted is probably not the best thing for your paint. How to Mix IPA for Inspecting Correction Results :)
