I wonder what polishing was like before detailing clay came along.

    Trying out Griot's MF towels...

They're not bad towels, but I'd stick with Poorboy's DMTs for your Vette. I use my Griot's for my DD.

Oops, yeah, the 64oz jug. One thing's for sure, I won't be using my Blackfire Wet Diamond on anyone else's cars but my own.

    CMA Closing

I sure hope that someone is working to acquire the Blackfire line of products. I ordered a 64 gallon jug so I should be good for a while. Hopefully the AG team will acquire the product line.

I'm stunned! They just revamped their site, what the heck happened? Well, good luck to those that lost their jobs. I didn't budget for it, but it looks like I'm going to have to pick up some BFWD. I'm really hoping AG picks up that line.

    Questions about mobile detailing...

Poorboy's products state that they can be used in the sun or shade.

Best thing you learned from AG

The best thing I learned is probably the most basic..........work clean!

    After 205 But Before Wax

This happened with my black Camaro too. 85rd, a black LC pad, and the Porter Cable cleared up all haziness left by 205.

    Foam Pads for Flex PE14-2-150

I'm not limiting myself because I want to, it's just that after my next order I'm going to have to cool it with purchases for a while. Since Flex has stated that this polisher is intended for 7" pads that's what I'm going to go with. I could save money by going with the Kompressor pads since I...

    Foam Pads for Flex PE14-2-150

I'm looking to get some pads for my Flex rotary and I'm a rotary noob so I need some advice from you guys. Since Flex says this polisher works best with 7" pads that's what I'm going to go with. Unless there are some pads I've missed, that leaves with a choice between Meguiar's 7" Soft Buff pads...

First Tattoo...Questions to Ask, Thinks to Know???

No, you're not the only old guy in the room. I don't get this whole tattoo craze going on in the world right now. But, to each their own I guess.

    Poorboy's Microfiber Towels

They're definitely worth it! I think they far exceed all the other towels I've come across.

    Poorboy's Microfiber Towels

PakShak towels seem to be another favorite among this board's members, I just haven't gotten around to trying them yet because I'm so in love with the DMTs.

I burn my friend car paint with my PC :(

I was just trying to work over a small area and the scratch was deep so I elected to use my 4" Surbuf with Meg's UC. After just two little section passes I began to notice silver paint on the edge of the pad and stopped working it. The funny thing about it is that the area where I burned the...

I burn my friend car paint with my PC :(

I'm sorry for what happened. I know the feeling, I went through a clear coat layer with the Griot's 3" DA. Even with equipment that's considered very safe, it pays to be careful and mindful of what you're doing. My car's been in the shop all week getting repainted, a job that's going to cost me...
