    Hydrofluoric Acid to clean wheels?

Hydrofluoric Acid to clean wheels? Found out that one of the local express detailers are using this to clean customer's wheels (it's their "go to" wheel cleaner from what I'm told) and this struck me as an astronomically bad idea. Am I out of the loop here or is it indeed a bad idea? :dunno:

    Incredibly Cheap Finds

My family's second PC was a Packard Bell we inherited from my grandfather. Worked fine for him, but died on us less than a year after we got it. Always wondered what happened to them.

    Applying Jet Seal 109

The correct method would be to sell/trade/return it and replace it with a better sealant like Duragloss 111 or Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. :)

    Duragloss AquaWax.... WOW!

I believe the polish is #105, but not positive. You will be very happy with the #111. It's the first sealant I ever used and while I sample others from time to time, #111 is in constant rotation.

    Duragloss AquaWax.... WOW!

You should also pick up #111, it's a pure sealant that is absolutely awesome. Their interior and flat black rubber dressings are also staples in my detailing toolbox.

    Most Missed (Discontinued) Products

We all know that products come and go, and sometimes good products just don't sell well enough to stay on the markets. Others might get axed because of things like VOC regulations. I know that Megs #16 and Pinnacle Paste Glaz are missed, but what are some others you miss? Personally, I miss...

    Suggestions for my cart

My suggestions: - Don't buy the hexlogic pads. Get the LC flat pads instead. They are much better. - Deep Gloss Paint Sealant looks great. No point in topping it.

Question for anyone who uses Iron X or Iron Out

If you're considering doing the whole car, might consider using the Iron-x snow foam. I'm sure it would be more cost effective. Not sure how it would perform compared to the regular iron-x though.

    Dash Treatment

I like the Duragloss interior dressing. Great sheen without being too glossy.

Need some help on getting an air compressor set up

Perhaps you had lemon. I've put plenty of hard use on mine and a friend with the same exact compressor (inspired me to buy my own) has run his hard for a good 4 years now, no issues. I also did a good amount of research before purchasing my own and bad reviews of those compressor were few and...

Need some help on getting an air compressor set up

The HF compressor I recommended will run their 2" orbital polisher and is certainly more than adequate for blowing out pads. It's also very durable if properly maintained.

Wanted to Try Some DP Poli-Coat Paint Sealant or Megs #21 For The First Time.

Both products have light cleaning abilities, do they not?
