What are you all using for wheel mitts?

I am wondering if you all could give me some suggestion on what you all use and reccomend for wheel washing mitts? I am not really a fan of using brushes or wheel cleaners, I keep up on my wheels so that wash soap and a mitt is plenty to keep them clean. I have been using the cheapie $3...

1Z Gummi Pflege on exterior rubber?

How does it hold up to getting wet for you? I just want to make sure it has plenty of time to absorb into the rubber. Plenty of times I have used 303 and a couple days later it got wet and made a mess where it ran all over. I don't want to do the same with the 1Z on the rubber

Best Hands Down Trim Restorer Hands Down ?????

UTTG outlasts anything I have ever tried, and I have tried many products. I will lasts months easily. The only thing I don't like about it is if you put the slightest too much on it will streak. Really, a little is all you need. Sometimes I still get too much on the applicator and end up puting...

1Z Gummi Pflege on exterior rubber?

I bought some 1Z Gummi Pflege a while back on instinct, since I need something for the exterior rubber on the outside windows to try and bring them back and protect them for further UV rays getting to them. Most of the uses I have seen for the Gummi Pflege are where people are using it for door...

    Cleaning sheepskin wash mitts

I guess this one will be going to the less dedicated mitt pile then. I always though the genuine sheepskin mitts were supposed the release dirt from them easier than any other sort of wash media? That's the reasoning why I have always used them. Kinda stinks that my new mitt is no good for major...

    Best defense against pollen?

Well, 1 to 1.5 may be a bit of an exaggeration. It's probably still protected by that time, but the beading isn't a small and tight as initially applied. By that point I usually rewax anyways. 2 to 2.5 months is probably the most I'd trust the protection with it. I don't really get it either...

    Best defense against pollen?

Well its finally starting to warm up, which is great, but with it comes the pollen that I have recently seen starting to gather. I always use Collinite 845 during this season, since it seems that pollen is really tough on LSPs. It seems that the pollen is tough the 845 also, since 1 to 1.5...

    Cleaning sheepskin wash mitts

Yesterday I used one of my new sheepskin wash mitts while washing. After I was done washing the mitt out, I grabbed it by the thumb and fingers pockets and slung it back and forth to get the excess water off before putting it up to dry. Well during the slinging it fell out of my hand and landed...

    Best Car Wash?

Looks like Duragloos is a favorite amongst most everyone. What other washes does it compare to in terms of lubricity and sudding? I have been using Optimum for a while, and have tried just about everything else out there

Saturday boredom, debating what to do

I hate getting those lazy moments, seems like they occur less now that its finally warming up. What's even worse is when you are pumped up and want to detail, and then the weather doesn't want to cooperate. I just ended up cleaning the interior and brought some of my detailing products back into...

Saturday boredom, debating what to do

Well I am sitting here debating wether or not to wash my car. After looking at the forecat on a few different sites, Monday calls for a 50% chance of rain and 20% for Tuesday.:( The car is looking dirty to me, but it almost seems like it'll be 8 hours or so of time wasted only to get all dirty...

tire application pads - what do you like

I just buy the multi pack Eagle One tires swipes. They work good for me, and they are cheap enough that once they get too oily I just throw them out

So basically it will not start any kind of oxidizing with just heat alone, and it will need some kind of moisture?

    What activates rod sallt?

I have heard of a few places using beet juice, but have never seen it. Not that I'd want to anyways, sounds like a mess Excuse the typos in the thread title, I just noticed them. I guess in this section I am unable to edit

    What activates rod sallt?

About a week ago we got a couples inches of snow, and of course the road crews had to spray as much as that brine crap on the roads as possible until they were pure white. I made sure I didn't drive my car during the snow, or even while the roads were wet from it melting. Since then there has...

    Washing wash mits

Which brand Sheepskins have you had luck with lasting a whole season in the wash? I'd like to find a durable sheepskin mitt, but I have been using the Eurow mitts so far. I don't think I'd trust them once in the washing machine

Gilmour Flexojunk Hose warranty, anyone ever use it?

I may just try exchanging it in store first then, since I do have the packaging and sales receipt still. Maybe they will be getting some in a few week for the upcoming season, I didn't really see any last time I was in the store

Where can I buy Danase Swirl Abolisher I?

I guess I will get in contact with Chemical Guys then, and see if they have any reccomendations on a similar product then. I haven't really found anything else so far that matches it ease of use and results, so I was wanting to stick with it

Gilmour Flexojunk Hose warranty, anyone ever use it?

Last summer I bought a 50ft Gilmour Flexogen, more like Flexojunk, garden hose. The outer sheathing of the hose towards the attachment end has kind of been getting worn, and while using it this past weekend the rubber finally blew out on. Gilmour claims that they will replace it if you are ever...

    Forever black on weatherstripping/rubber seals?

I have used 303 before on exterior window seals. It does ok, but if it gets wet it will look oily afterward and run off everywhere. I am interested to see which products actually restore the luster to exterior rubber, and are faily water resistant
